RE: Marie Maze
That is a good question that I m not able to answer. I have been curious as to who her husband was for a while. On one of the census' she is listed as a widow at 20 years old, but they put her maiden name down, so not sure if this was before or after she married Maze.

Lester Adams
Hi Jennifer,
I see you added a photo of Lester Adams (Find A Grave Memorial# 22810900). Are you related to the family? I am related to Lester's wife, Harriet McIntyre (McIntire) Adams. Would you have any info/pictures ofHarriet or Lester & Harriet's children?
Thank you,

F.M. Morris
I was wondering if you can answer a mystery for me. I see that there is a headstone for Martha J. Wells Morris in the IOOF cemetery in Bloomfield but that her husband F.M. Morris is also on that stone. Here's my mystery. He has a headstone in the Dunnville Cemetery (row 2) with his parents and some of the rest of his family. So I am confused as to where he actually is buried. The Stone in Bloomfield is newer and the stone in Dunnville is older. Your help is appreciated.

Re: William Longworth
William is my 3rd grandfather. I am looking for the names of his parents and see that you are as well. Have you had any luck? My grandmother told me that her grandfather, John , lived beside Nicolas Longworth on a plantation. She said that Nicolas was a "cousin" and eventually married Theodore Roosevelt's daughter, Alice .

Hi Jennifer, I wanted to let you know I added a photo of the tile marker that is in Memory Lane section at Roosevelt, I just uploaded the photo today. The grave is located by the traffic circle in center of cemetery and by the intersection where the road leads east towards Vermont Ave, it is in the back of the office. Hope this helps, best regards, Jerry Hughes

RE: Ingrid Mann
Thank you for the connection. I keep genealogies on everyone buried at Elstad, so I've got Margit's information and that of her family. You will see that I have added Margit's obit to Findagrave!

RE: Ingrid Dybing Mann
Yes, I DO have Ingrid's obit and I knew her and I even played for her funeral. She was such a nice person! I will add her obit to her Findagrave record today. How is she related to you?

John Sutton Jr.
I live in Mr. Sutton's home that he lived in at the time of his death in 1943. He and his wife had it custom designed and built in 1938 and I have lived here since 1996. I am very interested in the history of the Millikin & Beede/Sutton families and did some intensive research back in 2001-02. I was able to locate the Sutton's 2 daughters and they even came out to visit me at their childhood home. I have lost touch and would like to contact them again, so I am looking for anyone who might have their email addresses, I lost them on my old computer.

I am not sure what your connection to the family is, but I saw that you added a photo of John and Lucile, so any information you can provide is appreciated.

thank you,

I wondered where or what book you located picture of John Wesley Prather(1808-1893)? Thanks for posting his picture.

John W. Prather
John W. Prather (1807-1893), buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hazelton, KS had another daughter Sarah Ann Prather (1837-1924).
She was my great-grandmother. Thank you for adding his photo.
The family resemblance is amazing. My father resembles his g-g grandfather.

Sarah Ann Prather married John Wesley Bowman (Methodist minister), 9 children, 4 survived,

My brother & his wife went to Hazelton KS, found Rose Hill Cemetery and there were no gravestones or markers that they could locate. If you have more information, please let me know. I would
appreciate it.

RE: Esther Kerr

You're very welcome for the photos, Jennifer. Reminded me that I hadn't uploaded a photo for Harriet. Interesting one. I think you had identified Rosebrough as a 1st husband for Esther. Maiden name makes more sense. Would be nice if every request uncovered so much.

Hi Jennifer,

Uploading her next. Looks like she is buried next to her first parent-in-laws, Charles & Harriet Rosebrough. Also there may have been a third husband, Vincent Lappin, sandwiched between the other two. I'll let you work it out :)

I doubt that Alice is her mother since she would have been 87 when she was born... please double check

RE: Edna Irene Avery Holte
I understand. I hesitate when I put in photos like that, but I guess my frame of thought was that if the family chose it...

I tell my daughter, you better find the best picture you can, when I was at my highlife. I do refrain when the photo has someone with oxygen; those are the worst.

RE: Isabelle Santos
Thank you very much for posting the picture - a very beautiful lady. However you stated that she died in 1991 - the head stone states 1998. Do you know for sure it was 1991? If you would like I can transfer the memorial to you - just send me through the Find A Grave memorial the request and I will accept it.

RE: Kathy Zelenko

I will probably be returning to the cemetary later on this summer. I will look again to see if they have a stone placed for Kathy. My concern though was that there seemed to be stones already in the described plot number. They were very old stones.
Best of luck to you! If I can help in any way, please let me know.

We have a copy of a copy of a copy of JW's Obit - but it is not legible - can I get a copy of those two from you? I would be more than happy to pay you for the copies and your time...

John Wesley NOT in Hazleton
Spoke with the cemetery manager in Hazleton, John Wesley and wife are not there - I am trying to obtain a good death record (a photo of the headstone would suffice) - there also are no records regarding his death with the county, city or state of Kansas.

His son Eli died in Waynoka, OK - and was buried in Protection, KS -

Wondering if you had more plot information for JW Prather.. and/or your source material for believing he is buried there?

RE: Wesley Burford
Thank you for contacting me. I would enjoy having any pictures you have. Wesley's father was my great grand father's brother, and I don't think I have any pictures of him, except for a family photo taken when the boys were children.
You may send photos to my email address:

Thank you again.

George True Avery
Hi! I found Professor Avery, son of your George Washington Avery and Cleora Smith Avery, so I thought I would go ahead and transfer him to you so they can all be together. If I find any more information on him, I'd be happy to send it along!
