RE: Maple Street Cemetery
Hi Midge,
There is another cemetery on this site called o
Quaker Meetinghouse Grounds in Adams, MA but it is part of Maple Street cemetery. There is a picure of the old meeting house at the address above. There are more names as well.

RE: Trip to North Cemetery
I found the gravestone picture of her 2nd husband on, and assumed (?) it to be in the North Cemetery, but unsure. He was buried with his 1st wife, mother of all of his children. "Nellie" had NO children by him, just the one daughter by her 1st Husband.

If you see that gravestone, you could add a picture of it to both his and his 1st wife's pages, and I will then delete the existing one. What about that little stone with his first name that you have? Is that him and if so you could add it to his page. It may have been a foot stone.

RE: Trip to North Cemetery
Thank you for braving the cold weather. I will ask her 2nd g.granddaughter, who took the picture, if she remembers the location on your map.

3 Hall children burials
Thank you for the depth of your research on the 3 children of Charles F. Hall. From what you wrote and what the Historian shared with you I would gather these burials were not or are no longer marked.
I appreciate your looking into this for me.
Have a wonderful holiday season.
God bless

RE: Ellen Braman (1837-1914)
Second thought, while there you might also take another picture or two of the area, if added, they will replace that currently used. Thanks!

RE: Ellen Braman (1837-1914)
If by chance Hodijah was named Hodijah B(Baylies) Braman, he would be Ellen's 2nd husband married 1872. He was born in Norton, 31 DEC 1818 died Wayland 25 MAY 1900. He built them a house across from 7 Old Sudbury Road in 1873, demolished in 1980, owning the house his farmer lived in at 10 Old Sudbury Road.

A new memorial could be made, I have a lot about him from studying his second wife Ellen "Nellie", also have copies of around thirty letters written to her by her sister-in-law, Jennie Gray, from 1858 till 1886, plus she, her daughter, step-son & 2nd hubby are in the 442 page 1st diary of Carl R Gray (1867-1872), who later became vice chairman of Union Pacific RR.

Other wise, thank you very much, I guess is cold up there, Ellen's 2nd g,granddaughter said it was -2 this morning when she emailed me from Franconia, New Hampshire. It got down to forty here in southwest Florida the other night.

Thank you again!

Would appreciate a better photo of her gravestone added to memorial #120959771 in North cemetery of Wayland, Mass, if you have the time and are near by.

Thank you for your work on Find A Grave.

RE: Hillside Cemetery
Father was Charles Francis, Mother Elizabeth A. Howe Hall.

They were living in Stow, Middlesex at the time of the children's deaths and during the 1910 census taken just months before.
The 3 children who died were:

Clarice Louise DOB 25 Mar 1901, DOD 28 Jun 1910 (vital records say buried Stow)
Harry Edward DOB 4 Oct 1904, DOD 14 Aug 1910 (Death Certificate says buried in Hillside
Gladys May DOB 10 Apr 1910, DOD 12 Jun 1910(vital records say buried Stow).

That said, I noted there are 3 Hillside cemeteries in Middlesex County MA, but as only one is in Stow so I began to look there.

Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hillside Cemetery
You posted a legend at Hillside Cemetery, STOW, MA and I was unable to enlarge it enough to read. The cemetery is 94% photographed but does not show the burial of any surnames HALL. I am looking for 3 children; Henry, Gladys & Clarice born to Charles F. & Elizabeth A. (Howe) Hall. All three "buried in Stow."
If you can verify they are buried there I would create the proper memorials.
Only Henry's death record indicates the cemetery name as Hillside.
Thank you.

You're very welcome! Happy to be of help!! Yeah, I'D blog about that marker too -- VERY eye-catching! :-D There were a few at Holly Hill like that....didn't know they even made such markers. Oh, and we got a pic for another marker nearby for a Guy H. Veal (guess he's kin to Virgil) -- would you like him transferred to you? Just let me know....

You are welcome Midge! If you are interested, I have an unintrusive method of bringing out faded gravstone inscriptions. Look at Julia Ann Brentner in Long Cemetery and Lizzie Mayer in Greenwood Cemetery (both in Winnebago County, IL). If you want more info let me know.
