RE: Perry
HI Pamela,

I apologize for the delay, I've been preoccupied with wedding stuff! I have not looked at this in awhile but My grandfather was Stanley Francis Perry, and his father I believe with Bartholomew Perry but I will have to look at my paperwork at home to be sure.

Stanley Perry (My Mother's Father) was a grandson to Julian and Julia, not a son.

Hi Pamela,

Julian and Julia Perry were my great grandparents. Their son Stanley Perry was my Mother's Father. I am trying to find some family history and stumbled across this site. Do you think you can help?

Reeds in Wiota
Hi Cus!! Was great to hear from you. I love Find a Grave!
Please don't feel rushed. We're leaving in the morning for WY.
Nelli and Newton's oldest grand daughter (my husband's sister) died last week and the funeral is Thursday.
If Stephen is Steven's great grandfather, that puts us in the the same generation.
I'm hoping to get some more info about the Reed side of the family. Happy hunting!

Patricia Missamore

My name is Patricia. I don't know if we are related or not,but my husbands grandfathers name was Lafayette Missamore from El Dorado or called placeville now. He was a miner
Born about 1858 in Ohio. came to California during the Gold Rush. Married Laura Annable in 1887.
Had 4 siblings Herbert 1888
Elmer 1891

Winifred 1900 all born in Placerville cal.

I believe Lafayette fathers name was Benani or Balsam.

RE: Thomas Swansborough
Pamela ~ Thanks so much for responding to my inquiry. I was surprised by your statement that you could not delete one the duplicate pictures you posted. I realize one cannot delete a memorial they did not create, but whoever posts a picture can delete that picture. I was so puzzled I just tried it myself and it worked perfectly. Have you tried?

I guess to some people the duplicate photo may not be a big to do, but down the road if someone in the family decides to add photographs, they may be limited in space.

I served locally on the Grand Jury with a Pamela Reed (not sure about the spelling of her last name) and thought perhaps it was you.

Thanks for your help ~ Jo

Dorothy and Russell Hoffman.
Thank you so much for the photo's of Dorothy and Russell Hoffman's grave markers. They were a very dear couple that were very close to our family, who I saw often when growing up. Dorothy was first cousin to my favorite great aunt, who was really a very dear woman as well. It really means a lot , when those of us that are disabled, and we can't get to the cemteries ourselves, for people like you to take the photo's for us. Dorothy and Russell (Hoffie) was really a very dear couple to each other. Thank you.

Harris grave in Atlantic Cemetery
Dear Pamela,

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit the grave of my ancestor Charles Harris and for taking a photo and posting it for me!! I was thrilled to bits that the request had been filled. I live in England now, so I rarely ever get back to America anymore, so it is so nice to see his grave from so far away.

Thanks a million!!

Kind regards,

Snouffers in Atlantic Cemetery
Dear Pamela,

Wow! You hit the motherlode with multiple names on the markers and even shed light of two previously "missing" relatives. Thanks you so much. I have added memorials to those new members and posted your photos. I gave you credit under the captions so I hope you don't mind. Thank you so much for doing it.

I have a couple others I am looking for if you are close to the Atlantic Cemetery and would be able to help me out. I haven't posted memorials as I am not sure if they are there. You can email me directly at

Oh yes thankyou--a transfer would be great. Pearl was Myron and Nettie's daughter. She was walking home with a friend and accidentally stepped off the curb and was struck by a taxi. I didn't know where she was buried though, so this is wonderful! Thanks again, :)Jessica
