Thanks for that information. What a terrible picture I have there too. It is on a list I have for retakes. If you have a better picture, that wouldn't be difficult, go ahead and post it and I'll delete mine.

Thanks again.

Funston Family Photos
Thank you many times for the wonderful photos you took of the Funston family in Perris Valley Cemetery! I greatly appreciate your volunteer work of taking these photos as I live very far from the cemetery. Your photos were of excellent quality and I am very happy to have them.
Regards, Jean

Lane marker
I can see why it would be difficult to locate a marker... at least in the cemeteries here the monuments stand up and are easy to read from a distnace. If you don't know the location there, looks like you could walk all day like you had to. I really appreciate your effort. Thanks again.

Mary Fisher Marshall
What do you know about her?

There was one who died in 1881 in Cuyahoga County whose birthday was 1832. Could this be her?
Found death record on Family Search dot org under ohio deaths. That is all there is about her. Just the day of death and the birth year.

You can try the necrology files (under research) at Cleveland Public Library (CPL dot org). I don't recall finding a listing but you never know.

Please use the Request a Photo button on her memorial to request a photo of her stone. Though I live about 30 miles from this cemetery, I don't have any plans to be near it any time in the near future. There are other volunteers who are closer and go more often than me.

Rollin Family Update
Anne, I went ahead and posted the new view of the Family Plot marker and also the pictures I took showing the pine tree where Amy and Jonathan's headstones are located. The back view of the pine tree shows one of the Orr family headstones going into the right side of the is not one of the Rollin's family markers. I also added photo's for Eleanor Rollin if you are interested in looking at those on her memorial page and also for Joseph and his wife Mary Orr Rollin on their pages. Let me know if I can help you in any other way. Debbie

Preserving the Past
RE: Maxwell, Rollins
Hi Anne,
The photo of the family plot marker for Rollin is all that is on it. To the best of my recollection there were no other markings except the name at the bottom of the stone. The stone is just slightly taller than the picture shows. The pine tree is growing right next to the Family marker...there are some small headstones in just outside the tree behind the Family marker. I do not remember who they were for?? All the other stones are located near inside the tree (which is huge and goes all the way to the ground) near the trunk. You can see them in there..but can not get to them. I am going back to this cemetery in the next few days...I will look again at the Family marker for additional inscriptions if there are any, and will go ahead and take photos of the grave markers that are next to the Pine tree, as well as the pine tree for you. Have a great day! Debbie

Anne, there is a map of plots available for Elsinore Valley Cemetery that can be found through the link given in the cemetery website in Find A Grave. It's incredibly useful for finding your way around there and finding grave sites. I had offered the photo to the original person that claimed it but never heard back. I now offer it to you to use for your claim.
