I will ask Ted Hightower. He provided the Hightower photos I posted in 2013 and he has made a visit to the cemetery.
The Old White Pond Cemetery added by Vikki in July 2014 is clearly covering the same people only adding more graves and I would suspect the same cemetery.
I personally do not know if the cemetery is in Barnwell or Aiken,
My guess is it was once in Barnwell and then cut off when Aiken was formed?
Will let you know what Ted says.
Ed

RE: Loma Vista Corrections
Thanks so much for taking them, Tony. I've had a couple of strokes, and I was afraid they would be stuck in Never-Never land if they stayed with me. grace

RE: Loma Vista Corrections
No problem, Tony. I put on my big-girl pants and looked up the records last night. You should have received notices [about 5, I think] that they were done. Would you like to have these people? John Q, Martha, Baby, Ralph, and Ruth - and anyone else there that's related. They are not mine, and I'm getting on in years. ;-) BTW, I believe Ruth's age is wrong on her stone. She's 2 years off in the 2 censuses I checked. grace

Loma Vista Corrections
Hi Tony, I inherited Loma Vista's Adams Family when I requested the ones in Pearsall. I know little about them. Would you mind please sending me your sources for the information? I don't want someone else coming back and telling me I'm wrong. If I have the evidence in hand, they can't do that. Thanks! grace

Good afternoon, just received a correction message from FG with you saying that her middle name was misspelled and stated that it was her middle name... I tried to email you back but there was no contact info there. If you could go back to her memorial and use the edit tab (like you did) and let me know what her full name first and middle and correct spelling I will correct it for her. Helping people that have gone on before us is what this site is about and having corrected info is best.

Allison Wyley Marlar
Dear Tony:
According to my information, Allison Wyley Marlar was only married to Lilly 'Lula' Bell Bickley Marlar, marr. 20 Jan 1878, Hamilton Co., TX. That was abt. seven years before Payne's birth. On the 1800 census for Hamilton Co., TX, five years before Payne's birth, Allison was married to Lula as well. However, I believe that the person who was informant on Payne's DC was mistaken in saying that Mary Smith was Payne's mother but the mother of Allison was Cynthia Smith. Allison was an elder in the Arden Church of Christ and most elders "are the husband of one wife". If you are a descendent of John W. Marlar please advise. I have no information on him as he must have died before Allison & family moved to Arden, Irion Co., TX, where his son Amos married my great aunt, Opal Edith Underwood. I believe she died when presumed living with her son Robert in FL.
If you have additional information please email me. samorsak@yahoo.com Thanks....Sam O.

This is possible because of the mixup in locations. The memorial that has a marker photo is the correct cemetery as I did all the cemeteries and did the separately thus if the photo is in that cemetery it is in the correct one. I even have maps and locations.
