|Carolyn Graham - Lopez||William Clark Reeder|
Do you know if the person you created a memorial for, William Clark Reeder is the same 1st Lieutenant W C Reeder of CO.D 9 Reg't Alabama Infantry, who enlisted in Lauderdale County?

I noticed that there are two entries with same person.
1= Margaret Louella Thompson Clemmons
Memorial#5362629 entered 14-apr-2001.
2=Maggie Louella Thompson Clemmons
Memorial#7885144 entered 21-sept-2003.
Both have same headstone picture and info.
Birth: Sep. 4, 1878
Death: Jan. 24, 1950
But one only has the dates no places.
#7885144 is linked to husband #5362627
and two children.
Maybe one could be edited and the other removed?
Just a suggestion. Not my family nor my entries. All time&effort for F A G is greatly appreciated.

|erinne dock||Kate Bionda|
It is possible, as was in the case of my ancestress that Kate Bionda's remains are in the Shelby county (now defunct)Cemetery
Also known as: County Cemetery, Potters Field.
There are unknown masses buried there. It is now a park.... they removed the bodies to a mass grave and made it a park of some sort.

Are you related to the Red Bay and Hamilton, Alabama Pursers? I am a distant relative of the Purser family.

|Ron Adams||Roland W. Adams at Barton Cemetery, AL|
Scrappy, I am a half-nephew of Roland's and know only a bit of his history, never knew him personally. On Find-A-Grave, he is Pvt Roland Adams, and that veteran's status comes from his brief WW I service, August 27, 1918 through December 22, 1918, roughly four months. He was living in Michigan at the time of his enlistment, and served with the 42nd Field Artillery, 14th Division, Battery D. He ended up in Alabama later in his life. He was born in Ohio, lived in Michigan in his 20s, and was living in Arkansas in 1942. Thanks for all your good work on tracking our veterans.

Saw where you had a memorial note on his memorial. I have now posted a picture of his military tombstone. You may copy if you like. It is sinking into the ground and has a mold on it but I believe it will note his memory.

|Jim McGuire||Fred and Elsie Hughes|
Fred and Elsie Hughes are my grandparents. My mother is Christine. I do have Adam Wells as the father of Will and Emil. According to census info that I found, Adam was born in about 1859 in Ohio. Will was born in AL, but I don't have anything for his mother (Adam's wife).
Do you and any information on Rachel Hughes (Charlie S Hughes' mother)? All I know is that she was from the St Joesph, TN area. For some reason, I don't think she ever married.

I noticed you're researching the above line...I may have some information that could help. In additional to those families, I'm also researching the Romine and Wells families. I have extensive Romine information, but my trail is cold on the Wells line after Will (married Lillie Pearl Romine) and Emil (bothers). I know each brother inherited half the family farm on the highway where Emil lived. Emil got one side of the road and Will got the other side. I think their parents may have come directly from Germany, so that might explain why my trail is cold.
I'm not sure of the highway number, but it runs to hwy 72 and there's a gas station / store on the corner. Emil was hit by car and killed while walking to the store.

|Jim McGuire||Emil Wells / Myrtle Smith Wells|
Hello. Can you please create a spousal relationship between Emil Wells (8169799) and Myrtle Smith Wells (8169802)? Thanks!!!
As a note, Myrtle was struck by lightening and killed on their front porch (they lived between Hwy 72 and Antioch Church). She was wearing boots and the lightening knocked her out of them. I can remember visiting Emil and he kept her boots on the front porch. They were split open on the side from the strike.

|Jan Urban||Cassander Anders Urban|
Cassander is my husband's gg-grandfather. His name is incorrectly listed as Cassander Anders Urban. The headstone reads "Cassander Urban", and is given name was "James Cassander Urban". We'd appreciate it if you could make that change for us. Thank you so much for listing him on find-a-grave!

If there are any Goodwins you would like to forward too me, I will be glad to manage them. If you can't I understand. With your veterans cemetery, do you want pictures as well as names to add? I have an interest in the military V.C. you have created. You do such a great job and it has been great to see and read !!!

|Bonnie Maskery||RE: Daniel Blanton Hester, Jr #63781623|
Thank you so much for leaving a memorial flower for Daniel, but I would request that you replace it with a more appropriate one, as posting an obituary as a memorial flower is not within Find A Grave guidelines and his obituary is already shown on his memorial. I appreciate all the hard work you do and all your efforts are greatly appreciated.

|Inge Stroud||John T Stroud?|
James T Stroud was in the 30th Alabama Co.I CSA.1860 Census Talladego, Co. Ala-civil war; some records showed J.T.Stroud; someone transcribed that to John T. Stroud and now he is buried as John T Stroud; incorrect name; I have been trying to get it fixed.
he died of small pox in Confederate prison Alton Ill; this is why Nancy took her two boys and moved back to her parents; one of those boys being Jonathan Manson Stroud.
Do you have any advice on how to get the records corrected. I emailed the Veterns Administration but no response yet.

Saw the headstone in person, and in the photo. Tom J. Johnson, buried at Barnett Cemetery in Lexington, AL. His birth year is clearly 1866, not 1886.

The item you added to the page of Jesse Vinson buried in the Epinal American Cemetery I must ask does it really add anything to his story? I think not myself so would you delete it and perhaps try to find a photo of him.
