Jackson J. Rusk
Hi, I found this as I was working on my famlies Ancestry. My Name is Edward M. Rusk of Cincinnati, Ohio. I have found Rusk's from the Revolutionary War - The Civil War - WW1-WW2- Korea - and Vietnam, that would be me. I just saw that a Rusk fought at the Alamo. I am trying to piece some of this together. Just thought I would send you a note. Thanks for that posting, I am a member of Find-A-Grave.

I came across Harry Beam, and went and Google- ed his name and could find nothing much- no photos? Is he a mystery man? You do very good biographical work- thank you for taking time to remember people!

Kathleen
William Preston bio
Hi John, I just wanted to thank you for doing the bio. I discovered it while putting some information together for my cousin Preston. Our ancestress was Mary Hancock Griffin, who was the sister of Caroline Hancock Preston. Ever since Caroline married into the Preston family, their name has been carried down, in our branch of the family, and others. So reading what you wrote was very special to me.

Thank you for linking James to his parents.
Also for the offer of transfer but I have no connections. I just ran across the information as I was adding photos and thought it would be nice if they were included - might help others in researching sometime.
Thanks again.

Florencio Arosemena Picture
Just wanted to say thanks for the help in completing my entry with the picture add. I sometimes have a great deal of trouble locating photos of my Panamanian subjects. I also am perhaps too wary of copyright laws, which leaves me hesitant in many instances. Any advice on such matters would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again!
