|Mary Ann (McCrary) Wertin||RE: Bergschneider|
Hello, David - The Bergschneiders are my daughter's husband's family and I don't have a Mary Roth attached to Stephen. Where did the marriage take place,in Illinois or Missouri in Nov.1902? Does the article include any other family names?
I can check with my son-in-law's mother after you send the information to see if she knows anything.

Sorry for the previous "non message".
Would you like Vivian Vaughn's memorial transferred to you? She was the grandmother of a friend of mine - the reason I made the memorial page.

Would you like me to transfer this memorial to you? She appears to be your family and not mine.

I am in the process of scanning in pages from my parents deed/abstract. The abstract/deed goes back to 1826 and at one time the Wyatt Family owned this property. There is a lot of information in it about the Wyatt Family. In fact, I didn't realize how much info was in an abstract...really interesting stuff.
I was wondering once I get it scanned in if you would like copies. Let me know if you do.
My e-mail address is email@example.com.

|Bonnie Morris Conrad||Leslie|
The Leslie, Crawford, McKemy, Jackson families were all from Ireland, Scotland and went to the Waxhaws on the border of North and South Carolina and during and after the Rev. War migrated to Tenn, KY, Missouri, Leslie, Ark and one to San Antonio Texas during the seige of the Alamo. Follow President Andrew Jackson's family and you find the early Leslies.4 sisters who were Hutchinson's came with their husbands to America. Andrew Jackson's mother was one of the sisters. I have many of Andrew Jackson's books and there are only snippits of his early family but the Leslie,Lasley, family are usually mentiioned. It's fun reading. He is my first cousin 5 times removed.The Hermatage usually gives focus to his adopted family and they ignore his blood family.

|Bonnie Morris Conrad||James Leslie|
I just posted a James Leslie died 7/1/1915 in Masden Cemetery. Bullitt Co, KY. He was the son of Burr Leslie and Ellen Masden of KY. I see you posted a Burr Leslie. Do you know if Burr was married twice?
I don't know if this James is related to me but I felt sorry for him when I found him in my searches. He committed suicide and I just had to keep his memory. I am descended from John Leslie Rev war and his wife Hutchinson who was the Aunt of President Andrew Jackson. My closest Leslie was my great great grandmother Margaret Leslie Vanpool.

I am unsure if that is the same one, though it very well could be! I have been stuck in a rut with her and her husband! Did this person, Rhoda Elizabeth Leslie marry a man by the name of R.J. Steele? (May also be spelled "Steel" in some cases) I have found online via familysearch.org (and also through the County's District Clerk) that there was an R.J. Steel and R.E. Leslie married in Collin County, Texas (I think specifically McKinney). Shortly after that marriage date, My Great-Great-Grandmother, Ora Belle Steele, was born in McKinney, Texas. I kinda put two and two together on that one, figuring that due to the last names in that marriage being the same. Ora Belle Steel-Adams' Death certificate, in which my Great Grandmother was the informant, shows her parents to be R.J. Steele and Elizabeth Leslie. Any information and/or documentation you might be able to share with me on her would be greatly appreciated, as I said before, I've been stuck in a rut with her.
