Hi Michael: First, thanks! I've been trying to find Mabel's maiden name (she is related to me through marriage to my Aunt's family).
Mabel S Van Kirk Hubert #7651136. She was born 29 Apr 1878 in California. She died on 10 Jun 1958. She was first married to Brooks L. Gibson around 1895 and had one daughter and one sone, Nyle Candace Gibson and Page Gibson.
John Baptiste Huberty, #7235878, was born in March 1845 in Belgium and came to the US as a boy. He died 25 Aug 1930 in Riverside. He was married to Eliza C. Cronin on 13 Jan 1891 at St. Francis de Sales Church in Riverside, CA. She died young of consumption on 11 Feb 1895. John had one son, Frank who must have been the son of another wife which I can find no record of at this point.
Sometime after 1910 and before 1920 her married Mabel S. Van Kirk. They had no children together but were mentioned frequently in the Society column of the Riverside newspapers. On August 30th, 1929 it was reported in the paper that John joined the Press-Fair Pioneer Society as he had been a resident of Riverside, CA in 1874.
Can you link John and Mabel as spouses? Thanks so much!
