You are very welcome. I was in JC for a couple of days and spent Sunday afternoon in Lakeview. My childhood friends helped me search for Mr & Mrs Van Vorst and my friend thinks we went to school with Barbara.

My mom might know where she is, I'll ask her. Again, as soon as the weather clears, you'll have your photos!

As soon as the snow and flooding clear, I will go and take a photo for you.
I was just wondering ... I grew up here in Johnston City and lived "across the pasture" from Gert and Van (that's what we called him - not sure of his real first name) Van Vorst. Are you, by chance, related?
Gert was a WWII bride from Germany.

|Abbie M||VanVorst line|
We might have spoken before. I can't be sure.
I'm a VanVorst by blood. I just don't know form which line. I've seen the line in NY, NJ, MI, IL and more. I'm not very good at this computer stuff and was wondering if you could help me find which VanVorst group I came from. I managed to get me as far back as James VV living in NY in 1915 and 1925. His family was Rose, William and Violet.
Not sure when or even if you'll see this. If you can help I would love to be able to give the information to my 9 grand-kids. Hopefully at least one of them will keep the genealogy going for the VanVorst line on this side!!
Thank for you time,
Somehow a relative,

|Ann in Kalamazoo||KRAGER|
ANNA, I have posted Samuel's photo. There is a Fannie A Krager 1883-1948 next to him and the stones are alike. (His wife?) Do you want that posted to her Find A Grave as well? Ann

|John V.||Elizabeth Burchett|
There are two entries for this name. The first is listed as "Elizabeth Selner" and is buried with her first husband "Perry Selner" and the second is "Elizabeth Burchett" her second husband. I posted the photo for Elizabeth Burchett but the name of the stone is Selner. Hope this makes sense.

Hello, sorry, but I think you may have the wrong photo on the memorial #43629707 Floyd Arnold Burns.
The photo on the memorial is for "Henness"

Thanks for the note. I grew up in West Frankfort and my brother still lives in the area and is taking the photos for me. We are happy to contribute.
