Hi Terry,

I have just recently discovered the Find A Grave world and I'm hooked! So I began to search for anyone I have lost and I found that you had photographed my grandmothers grave and added it to this website. Thank you for doing so. It means a lot. However, I would like to get her middle name corrected if that would be possible. I would also like to make some family connections for you if your interested. I just signed up this morning so if you interested please contact me.

RE: Update
So glad to hear that the Overbys in Five Point are related to you and that you have so many family members all together there. How frustrating for you to lose all your images taken at that cemetery. I would be happy to burn a copy of the CD that has all the images taken last week, that way you have your very own copy. Just let me know. Happy to help a fellow 'cemetery crawler'. Helen

I inventoried the entire Five Points Church of Christ Cemetery while there today. I see that you had created each of the memorials for the website. If you want all of the images uploaded, just put in requests and I will claim & upload them. That way it has been 100% covered. Thanks!

Your Nichols requests
Hi Terry, I uploaded the requests for your James and Amanda Nichols from Five Points Church of Christ Cemetery. Let me know if you want some close-ups of the individual sides of their shared headstone. Incidentally, there is an Overbey military marker immediately flush with the front of their headstone, that is what is in the image. Have a great day, Helen

Victoria Taylor-True
Lila Rose
Hi Terry
I have a question..
I just don't see it being possible ..but you took a photo and can verify for sure ;->

A photo you took for Lila Rose # 20523400 Lee Family Cemetery , Siler, Whitley Co, KY

AND also a photo Lila Rose # 42788367
Cobb Hill Cemetery , Cobhill ,Estill Co, KY

It looks to be a close up of the same exact stone . If it were a different stone, then possibly would pass without question but its exactly the same . SO she is in two different counties and same stone??

Thanks so much

Hello! I was wondering if you might have any information on the death of Mahulda Dunn's husband, James Jackson? You have him noted here as William Jackson. I have never heard the name William for Mahulda's husband. I descend through daughter, Polly, who married Noah Wagner.

Thank you for any help.

Mark James Freeman
Garland Freeman Headstones
I was looking at your photo post of Garland Freeman's headstones, he is an ancestor of mine. You have two different headstones for him, and the second one, which is bigger and upright, lists his wife, who appears to be still alive. I can't read her first name or birth date on the headstone. Is there any way you can read it off the original and tell me what it says??? It looks like "October" something, 1927, but I also can't read the first name. Would love to have that information.

And also, why two headstones?? Do you know??

Do you happen to know the whereabouts of the McClellan Cemetery? It is supposed to be in the Bailey Switch area. Looking for this cemetery. Would like to survey it when I come to Knox County later this year.

RE: Transfer
Thank you for the message. I am kinda new at this and learning as I go. I didn't see a transfer request buy requested it under other addition & corrections. Hope this is alright. I am also researching Surgeners. They are related to me through my grandmother Barbara Surgener Mauney. I think there are some surgeners buried in Scott Chapel Cemetery. Melvina Scott is Melvina Surgener Scott and married Frank R. Scott. I believe Abraham Surgener and his wife Selia (Celia) Surgener are also buried there. Frank R. Scott's fth is John D. Scott and his father is Francis R. Scott. Maybe of interest to you and maybe not. Thanks sooo much for doing all the work you do on these memorials!!
