I assume you put in this cemetery, so would you please add that
it is located in Section 8, Twp. 53, R. 30, one-half mile east of Pleasant grove School.
Thanks. Maybe that will help separate it from the other Wilson Cemetery in Clay Co., MO.

|Michael Wood||Merrill Cowee, Harveyville|
Kent, thanks for allowing use of your gravesite photos to others. I have presented your gravestone image of Merrill Cowee, Harveyville Cemetery, on my website dedicated to the memory of the 16th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Civil War regiment. My research shows Merrill enlisted in the 16th OVI for its 90-day service. He then came to Kanasas and served in the 2nd Kansas Cavalry. My site is www.mkwe.com/home and go to the Laid To Rest section. Thanks again! And for your service to our nation!

Thank you for the tombstone Picture for Fred Bellew.
I have found that there is another entry for him in same cemetery. I have asked both people to decide who is going to delete their entry and let me know.
I might have to ask you again to put Fred Bellew's tombstone on the other entry.

Hi Kent, Thank you so much for getting a hold of me. Thank you for the kind words about my granddaughter, she is now 8 years old, and is so kind hearted and just as smart as a whip. I would be so happy to add all the information you have for Mr. Pursel, but I would love to transfer him to you and your wife. You could do his memory better than I. I just ask that if a family member does get a hold of you, that you would transfer ( if within Your guidelines) It seems that you have done a Lot of research. I will be transferring now, and I hope that it was not too much trouble for you to get this information to me. Thank you again, and thank you for caring so much about this man and his company. Sue

Thanks for the info. Kent. Part of the family is having a reunion in July near Weston, Mo. and I wanted to do a report. Are you related to them?
A little odd that the cemetery is in a modern yard off a driveway but it happens. Looks like it could have been a part of an old farm that was cut up for a subdivision with modern homes. Or something like that! At least they left it alone and did not destroy it. Do you agree with this assessment? I will be in touch with you again. THANK YOU for putting it on Find A Grave for everybody. Best regards, Eli

Hi Kent, I saw your memorials to my Wilson 4th great-grandparents. I never thought I would find them. One of their sons as well. What can you tell me of the cemetery? The pictures show it on the side of a private driveway. Is this right? I am coming to the area next summer and wanted to see the graves stones. Sincerely, Eli Chandler

|Gloria||RE: Andrew J Smith|
She remarried. I found out her maiden name is not shields, but Woodward, and she was born in 1826 England. She marries a guy named Orrin Boyington Smith after Andrew dies. He is probably a cousin, but has a different father.
He dies in Florida, so she probably does also.
Thanks. I will keep looking as this is part of my family also.

Hi Kent, I went to the Clay Couny Cemetery. I talked with the older lady at the historical society and she said there used to be a county home for men there and the cemetery was where they buried anyone who didn't have money o any family. I asked about memorial markers and she said there were none there. She did tell me that Clyde was buried along the right fenceline about half way back from the entrance. I would like to take over maintenane of his memorial so I can add the rest of his children and his first wife. I am trying to collect all my family and would appreciate you letting take over my grandfather.I wrote to say thanks and to let you know you were right. I certainly appreciate your help.
