|Julia Klos Burch||Can you transfer management?|
Emma C. Nelson and John Nelson are my great great grandparents. Not a big deal if you can't transfer management of them, I have no new information except that I did find out I am related. They are in Scandanavian Cemetary in Rockford Illinois. Respectfully, Julia Klos Burch

Sorry to hear your ill, hope you feel better soon.
Your welcome for the info. I was very excited to see you found Daniel, I was wondering about Minerva, if she's there too. I was also wondering if you'd be going back to Lima Union Cemetery sometime. I believe Hiram's wife Jane is buried there, possibly in an unmarked grave, as Hiram's was also unmarked until 1932 when the current stone was placed. I hope you don't mind me asking, I'm just very excited. Hiram and Daniel are my grandfathers and I assume they're yours also, so hello relative.
Please, if you'd get back to me when you're feeling better I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

|root bound||Hiram Bushnell|
Hiram's parents Daniel Milton Bushnell and Minerva Coe both died in Grant County, WI.
The last place of residence I have for them was Harrison in Grant County. Unfortunately I don't have a burial place for them, but that would be a place to start.
Hope this helps.

I wonder if I may have your permission to use your cemetery photos on my family website. Check it out at www.freienmuth-shortridge.com/shortridge/cemeteries.html. This is how I'd be using the photos and obituaries I find on Find A Grave, with 'used with permission' in the caption.

You are more than welcome, I always like it when I find their obits. It just seems to honor them more. Glad you added the information.

Thank you John for being so kind as to transfer Allen's Find A Grave #24624741 to me.
We've been to Big Patch several times when we have come back to WI on vacation(we are from WA State)
So many in the cemetery are related to me. Of course, Booths along with Hilton, Huntington, Kay, Render, Wilkerson. Just to name a few. Still have a lot of Booth's that live in Cuba City.
Anyway, just wanted to say thank you.

|JoAnne McNeil||Russell Family: Grant County|
Hello Deborah Myers:
In answer to your inquiry regarding Barnabas Russell and Sarah Jane Potter, Barnabas was my Great-grandfather.
My father Frederick Russell now deceased, was the son of Sylvester Russell. Sylvester was my Grandfather.
My father Frederick lives in Grant County for his entire life, and that is where he is buried.
I have four brothers and I do not know if this is helpful to you, regarding DNA testing.
I am very interested in learning what other information that you have gathered regarding our Russell family ancestry.
I look forward to hearing from you in the near future.
Thank you. Added by JoAnne Russell McNeil on March 18, 2014

|Deborah Myers||Russell family Grant County|
I'm related to the Russell family in Grant County, Wisconsin and noticed that you have some memorials for that family. My great-great-grandmother was the daughter of Barnabas Russell who was married to Sarah Jane Potter. The only male descendant of Barnabas and Sarah Jane Russell I've been able to find lived and died in Grant County, Wisconsin. He was Barney Russell (Find A Grave Memorial# 11115600, whose memorial you created. I'm trying to find someone who is a Russell direct male descendant for DNA testing to prove the line to James Russell and Mary (White) Russell. If you can help locate any Russell male descendants I would really appreciate your help. Thanks!

Thank you for your quick reply.
I'm actually the one doing the tree for his family. I will contact him tonight. It was a lot of work. 7 binders (his, his wife's and the 5 children.
I hope he receives it in time for Christmas. He wants to surprise the family.
He did say Leora has a marker. She was a member of an organization that provided the marker.
I have extended the Groff family to Wilson Groff, and his father, Jacob Groff. I wish I could obtain vital records to make a correct connection.
I downloaded the Find A Grave info on Henry and Polly Winter/s. A few years ago, I obtained his service record, which is actually a pay record.
To survive Andersonville, Libby, AND being nicked by Cole Younger is quite interesting.
Oh, his Civil War record, shows him at 21 in 1863. That would put his year of birth at 1840, but the marker reads 1820. I think the copyist might have wrote the info wrong.
Again, thank you for your help.

Would you have a headstone photo of Andrew J. Groff, and Leora (Winter/s) Groff?
My friend Paul (Grandson of Arthur) says that Arthur has a headstone. Can you verify that for me?
