Daniel McKinley Hollingsworth

I've been researching the family of Daniel McKinley Hollingsworth and noticed that the family relationships you have listed for him are not the same ones that I have come across. According to his Death Certificate, his wife was Minnie K. Hollingsworth. He is also listed as father to Ulysses Grant Hollingsworth on Ulysses' Death Certificate. Minnie and Ulysses are both buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville, SC. He may have had a second son, Mack D. Hollingsworth who is buried beside Minnie in the same cemetery, but I have yet to confirm this information. I cannot find any connection to the wife and kids that you have listed for Daniel M. Hollingsworth. Thought you might like this information so you can change his Find A Grave listing if you so chose.

Marlar memorials
Hi Robin, Just wanted to let you know that another member, TonyElvis, has made duplicates of almost all of your Marlar memorials, at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. This person has been doing this all over the place. He then steals the photo from the original memorial, and uses it on his memorial, and thinks he has every right to do so. You can leave him a message, but just be warned, he'll leave a nasty message for you in return. Please contact Find A Grave to complain! I'll contact the person who took the photos.

RE: Annie Taylor - Bloomington
I placed that on her site because her name is on the stone below his, on the same stone. But if you don't want it, I will remove it.

"Dixson" surname
My maiden name is Dixson. Few individuals spell it with the "S". My father was the only one of nine siblings who used the "S". Explaining, that is how it was spelled on his Birth Certificate.

Florence Goodfellow Rogers
Thank you Robin for the memorial and the picture of her gravestone. She was a very dear friend. I have sent an edit for her birth and death places and another edit with information for her Memorial. Since she has no living family, I would love to manage her if you would be so kind, but if not, please add the info about her, so she wont be so...unknown. Thank you again, Robin!

Inez Leona Farley Pratt
What relation are you to Inez. Inez was raised by her relative William H. Butler & his wife Eliza E. Brown (my G. Aunt) after her mother died. She is shown in the 1900 US Census for Vermillion, IN. and listed as Ina Farley, lodger.

William H. Butler's obit from the Clintonian newspaper Aug. 12, 1912, listed her as his daughter.
Do you know if William and Eliza adopted her.

They adopted his cousin Rose Armour after her mother died. See Eliza E (Brown) Butler's Find A Grave memorial # 74892217, then you can also click on William's.

Waunita M. (Brown) Herron in WA.

Thanks for Your Help and Patience
Robin - Just wanted to say thanks for your help and for putting up with all of my edits. We just began researching our family genealogy earlier this year, which led us to discover Find A Grave, and how amazingly helpful it has been in connecting generations to each other. We were fortunate to have some "insider" info that was not reflected in Find A Grave, and I am gradually working to connect those dots. I have several more, but will try not to dump too many on you at one time. Again, thanks very much for your patience, but when you've had enough from me, please don't hesitate to say so.

Angela Kritsch
RE: Wadman Family
Hi! It's nice to meet a distant family member interested in preserving our family history. I too am a descendent of Sarah Sykes Wadman. The lineage is from her and William Wadman through daughter, Elizabeth Wadman Dines who had son Clarence Dines, on down. Sarah is my 4th great grandmother. I actually have a photo of Sarah and William Wadman if you are interested in it. Through which lineage are you connected? - Angela
