WHE-1 Wheeling Cemetery - Den Hill Road (county rd 641)
GPS N 37.16095 by W -80.33089
12 Jul 2006 Wednesday
The cemetery is located along the left/sw side of county road 641 (Den Hill Road), and visible from 641, the site is about 1.54 miles west of US 11/ US 460. The Cemetery is located on top of a pretty steep knoll, it can be easily reached with a 4wd vehicle or a difficult walk. The walk from Den Hill Road up to the cemetery is about 133 yards (399 feet). However it is on private property, permission is advisable. Most of the tombstones are legible however a number on them have been hand made and not readable as of this date. There are a few rock/field stone markers. The west protective fence is broken down which allows cattle and animals to get into the cemetery. Grounds care is minimal, some of the markers have fallen over or sunk, and a couple are broken.

Hello - I have reason to believe that John Henry LOOP b. about 1795 d. 1859 is buried in this cemetery. Is it possible for someone to look for his marker? Thank you.

I have connected his parents to his memorial. Sorry it took a little while. I was out of town.

Regarding your message on Bane Underwood. Deceased children cannot be added through the parents memorial. You will need to contact SWVA Genealogy Searcher, who posted Bane's memorial and have them add both parents through Bane's memorial. I hope this helps. Thanks for your message. Have a great day.

No, I'm not related. Just enjoy helping others find the markers their looking for. There are a number I'm looking for also, so it's a little "paying it forward". Take care.

I don't think I added this relationship. If you look at the asterik on Missouri's page, you will see that it was created due to someone updating it on Joel's page.
I am pretty sure they were actually brother and sister.

You kindly transferred her to me, but come to find out, she's not MY Reva Gallion...do you want her back since she is an Eakin? I know you said you had lots of them. Let me know
