Charmayne Maxwell (follow-up)
Since I cannot delete my previous message, I gather that the public has to wait for more information on the breaking news of Charmayne Maxwell, a member of the singing group Brownstone, since information is still all over the place. I had cited info from one source that suggested the death occurred in Denmark (there were others that cite the same thing), while the Daily News in the UK cited that she died after a fall at a soccer match that she attended in Los Angeles, California.

Singer from '90s R&B girl group Brownstone dies from 'accidental' fall while attending soccer game

* Charmayne Maxwell was attending a match in Los
Angeles
* Her death has been described as an 'accident' by Danish media

Just thought to follow-up in case you needed to disregard my first message in favor of your information on FindAGrave.com.

Many thanks.

Re: Marvin Charles Milliron #109084157
I'm trying to verify something I've found in a family tree on Ancestry. Do you know the maiden name of Marvin's wife Ruby? They were married in 1944 and divorced in 1945 per Michigan Divorce records on Ancestry. The family tree has an obituary for a woman named Ruby Burt Manutes that they have linked to Ruby Milliron's second husband, John Rice. The obituary does not make any mention of any family named Milliron or Rice, which is not surprising, Marvin's obit doesn't mention Ruby or any wife for that matter. I think the poster of the tree might be making an assumption based on a suggested link by Ancestry. I've seen other such suggestions that are based on coincidental details, and are false. Since you are a Milliron and the owner of Marvin's memorial, I'm hoping you know more about him than what his obituary says.

Thanks.

Millirons in Texas?
Hello, Pamela! Nice to meet you!

I have been trying, valiantly, to find a first husband of a relative: Dovie Mae Sweeden Millions / Milliron / Millorn Robertson (# 128170493), and I was wondering if you have a Dovie Sweeden (some have spelled it Sweden / Sweeton / Sweetin...and, various other-odd spellings).

Dovie was daughter of my great-grandmother's brother, Henry Marshall Sweeden. My great-grandmother was Nancy P. C. (Nan) Sweeden Thornhill.

I have found a 1940 Census that lists two children of this union (with Mr. Millions / Milliron / Millorn) after Dovie married a second time to Mr. William Hugh Robertson (# 105480402). Their names were William T. & Sylvia (both last names are typewritten as "Millions" - and both were listed as "step-children" to Mr. Robertson, being head of household)...and, there is also another married daughter in this census listed as "Daughter" with the last name Allen. Her young husband is living with them, as well, listed as "Son-In-Law" - his name was Ray Arnold Allen.

Do any of these names ring a bell with you? The Mary E. Allen may actually be Mr. Robertson's daughter by his previous marriage - or, may be a step-daughter, mis-listed as daughter to Mr. Robertson - because he had a daughter named Mary, but she had a different middle initial...so, I'm not sure if she's Mr. Robertson's daughter, or Dovie's from the previous marriage to Mr. Millions / Milliron / Millorn.

Sorry to ramble. If these ring a bell, I sure could use some help!

Thanks, in advance, for reading my message and any help would be greatly appreciated!

Take Care!

A Marine's Daughter
Eva, Harry & Harold
They're also buried in Forestvale Cemetery. I added her headstone photo to your memorial page for her. But, I didn't see any for them that you created. I had added them, so let me know and I'll be glad to transfer them to you. I also entered several other Millirons and I'm sure they're all related.

Michael Anderton
Emmett's brother
Pamela,
I beleive my grandfather,Wiley Anderton,
was your grandfather's brother.
I have seen a farm work ledger that has
Emmett,Luther and Ollie Anderton helping
on Wiley's farm.
Also, thank you for the memorial for our
mutual ancestor,Wiley Washington.
I have always been interested in his life
in the civil war.
My dad remembered a sword above the mantle
in their house in Tullahoma, maybe it was his?
I have seen a picture of his stone at Rock
Island, maybe now I will have to visit in person.
I will try to get some more info that will be of interest to you and get it to you.

Eric Lowman
Joseph Milliron
Pamela,
I noticed that you were related to Joseph Milliron of the 8th Indiana Infantry, Company I. I am also related to a veteran of the same company. I am currently working on a small book about these men and was wandering if you had any more information about Joseph, such as pictures, or letters that I might be able to include in the book. I have quite a bit of information on this company. If you look up my virtual cemeteries on find a grave, you will see that I have as many of the men of this unit as I can find posted. I hope to hear from you soon.

My sister Cathy
Thank you Pamela for leaving a token for my sister Cathy-what a caring person you are and such thoughtful words! I found this website by accident a few weeks ago and have been reading in awe ever since. You left this token back in Nov 2006--and I am just starting to reply back to all of the wonderful people that took the time to care. God bless you and your family
