Hi Stu,
Stevens H Weiss AKA Steve Weiss, was the lawyer for Peter Grant the late manager of Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Page as well.
He died in Florida some three years ago. He was originally from New York from what I remember. Can you see if your crack team of investigators could find his grave for me i would like to see it listed on this site and I would like to send flowers as well He taught me many lessons in the music business.

Thank you for all your work on find a grave. I think the Silas Soucie Memorial# 7693487 and a few others are part of my family tree. I have been hunting the internet for the " more detailed information, see http://www.mackinawcity.org/Cemetery/cemetery.htm" but can't find it. I can find the cemetery on the city website complete with plot prices but not the further info on current occupants, any suggestions?

The bio for Jesse Ownes states...
"Unfortunately, Owens was subsequently banned from amateur competition by US Olympic Committe Chairman Avery Brundage for leading a barnstorming tour across Europe."
I believe that in fact Avery Brundage stripped Owens of his amateur status for electing NOT to continue in the tour across Europe. Ownes did participate for a while, but soon returned to America to be with his family, and to pursue potential commercial opportunities (which proved to be few and far between).

Dear Stu:
I was just watching this guy get ready to walk a tightrope over Niagara Falls and thought I would look up Annie Edson Taylor on Find-A-Grave. Annie and I are both descendants of (Pilgrim) George Soule.
She did this stunt on her 63rd birthday, which was October 24, 1901. Can you change the year she was born from 1855 to 1838.
Her death date needs to be corrected as well. She died April 29, 1921 not March.
