|Marion County Genealogical Society||RE: Marion County Cemeteries|
Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens is located at 5050 SW 20th Street in Ocala, FL.
I have never heard of an Oaklawn Cemetery in Marion County. The closest Oaklawn Cemetery is in Sanford, Seminole County, FL which is bout 70 miles away.
If I may be of any further assistance, please let me know.

|Brenda Smith||Rebecca Girton Weaver|
You are correct! I usually check before I add someone. So I have deleted my entry. Rebecca is also my great grand aunt, sister of my
great grandfather Lenox Knight Girton. Does that make us cousins?

|Brenda J. Masters Charles||George W. Buchanan born abt. 1840|
Memorial # 121319059 George W. Buchanan, son of William & Mahulda Buchanan. He was married to Melva M. (Girton) Weaver on the 15 Oct 1884. I added the U.S., Civil War Draft Registrations Records, 1863-1865. which states he was born abt. 1840. He was probably born in Stampers Creek, Orange, Indiana where he lived & grew up until after 1870. I left a nessage explaining this on his Bio on Find A Grave. Hope this helps. The way you come to the aid of others is fabulous. You are a treasure. Thank you. Keep up the good work.

|Genie Lady||Infant Son Girton|
Thank you for the additional information about Infant Son Girton. I got him attached to his parents. My daughter-in-law has Sloans in her family tree and I believe they lived in central Illinois.

|Debbie Scott||RE: George Marshall Girton|
OPS! It is Milton not Marshall! That is what I get for "burying" people late at night! I changed it to Milton. He is listed as George Milton on his death certificate which I found on familysearch.org. Thanks for asking about the name.....hard to tell when I would have noticed the mistake!
If you want I will transfer to you. Just let me know!

|Rene (Lindgren) Kantack||Thanks, Melva!|
Thanks for sponsoring G-Aunt Nellie & G-Uncle Bill's memorial pages!
Aunt Nellie was the one who inspired me to take up the genealogy hobby.
Also, thanks for all the genealogy work you've been doing.
As always, if you spot an error, or have some information to add, please let me know.

I have his page fixed. Calvin Ernest is the son of Calvin Wolf. I have no connection to this family, don't like to see a Veteran go forgotten. I can transfer his page to you if you would like. Red

I had added his page and failed to check back to complete. Calvin served in the Spanish American War. With the dob you have given me, he would have been around 70 when he served. The Calvin I have entered was born about 1864 in Iowa.

Thanks for sharing the obit. They add so much to the memorials, letting us know a little bit about their lives.

Thank you for your additions for his memorial, I've linked him to his Father and added the dob/dod info you kindly provided. I am no relation to this family or any of the folks in the overview photo. I figured using the Miller family stone would be a good way to find them since they are so close to it. If you would like management of both Stephen and Effie please let me know. Thanks.

|Juelette Fadness||Alonzo & Minerva Girton|
Hi Melva, I made the corrections you requested for Alonzo and Minerva Girton. There was no "Morgan" in the city list of West Virginia. There was "Morgantown" and "Morgan Heights", so I made it Morgantown. I can change it if you like.
I'm not related to this family. I found an obituary online so used it to set up memorials on Find a Grave. I would be willing to transfer them to you....just let me know. Thanks, Juelette Fadness

Sorry to make dulicate, but I was just going with the photo I took, when I went to link her to her parents later I realized I had created a duplicate? I was still wondering what to do :) I am happy to transfer her care to you. You can delete mine and use the headstone photo. Or whatever you want to do :) Thanks
