Benjamin GRAVES
Concerning your memorial #59597473 for Benjamin Graves, 1645-1715, you state "Son of English Immigrants John Graves and Joan Anne Bird two of the first settlers of Concord, MA, arriving in 1635". Could you please provide your source for these parents? According to NEHGS records, The Great Migration 1634-1635, Volume III, pages 136-138, the father of Benjamin Graves, husband of Mary Hoar(e) was Richard GRAVES, who arrived in New England on the ship Abigail in 1635. This record has Benjamin the fifth of ten children. Thanks.....Jim Kelly, 7th ggson

Isaac Allerton #13252546
Hello, there is a wonderful article about Isaac Allerton and his role in various segments of Colonial America that would provide excellent additions to his memorial. Do you have an email address where I can send this article, so you can add to his memorial? I am assuming you are also a descendant, so "hello cousin!" All the best, Evey :-)

Sir John Lisle
Sir John Lisle is my 11x great-grandfather and I noticed on his memorial you said that he's a descendant of William the Conqueror. Who are the descendants between them. Ever since I saw that I can't find any descendants between Sir John Lisle and William the Conqueror. I would like to know where you got the info since that would make me a direct descendant of William the Conqueror. Just curious. Thank you

Connecting dots through the Coombs line
Hi!
I am a recent "convert" to seeking my genealogy line. The one thing that has helped me is a family book that was researched by my great Aunt, and was published the year I was born - 1952. Needless to say, she has long passed away, and now that I am using her as my departure point, I have so many questions and no one here to answer! I see where it appears that (I think it is) Degory Priest (or one of his grandchildren by the last name of Coombs). I have tried using my Great Aunt's lineage, but am stuck! Starting from Abraham Coombs (2x G Grandfather) back: Samuel; Noah; Dnaiel; "John" (one of many?); then here is where SHE has things no one else in the internet community has: RICHARD; FRANCIS; JOHN JR (or JOHN III); JOHN SR. (or maybe JOHN JR.; to SARAH PRIEST COOMBS.

Could you please email me? mskyu@aol.com I feel so lost! Thank you!

Infant daughter Thomas
Hey, you may want to check Find A Grave Memorial# 37608211 as it is a marker in Raker Cemetery in Wakulla Co., FL with a photo of the marker that reads, "infant daughter of Brock and Sallie Thomas age 11 months" It has no years on it and no name, just infant daughter. I wonder if it this is a match?

RE: Michael and Mary Garrigan
This family grows larger the more I look into it, and there are some names that reappear often, in this case "Bridget."
"Bridget" is the daughter of Mary (Keegan) Garrigan and Michael Garrigan.
"Bridget Alice" is the daughter of Michael's brother, Philip Garrigan, and Philip's wife Alice (Toher) Garrigan.
There are other Bridget's as well.
When you link "Bridget Alice" to Philip and Alice Garrign, you will see that she is the sister of Bishop Philip J. Garrigan.
This family is full of interesting people!
I am a descendant of Michael Garrigan and Mary (Keegan) Garrigan.

You have her listed as a daughter of Burrell Higdon and Nancy Roberts. Can you share any documentation you found for her parents, and particularly for Nancy's surname? Burrell and Nancy are my 4g-grandparents. Thanks. Virginia

Michael Paulick
Sara Reder Cushman, memorial 12508965
There are some oversights in the biography of Sarah Reder or Reader.

There is no known birth date or place for Sara. Probably Kent, England but no record found.
There are conflicting birthplaces shown. Kent and Netherlands?

She probably only had one child, Thomas. His baptism was recorded in Canterbury, Kent. There is no record or proof that the Sara and Robert had other children.
There is no evidence that Robert Cushman was a “Deacon”.
Sara had at least two brothers, Thomas and Hilkiah (Helkias) Reader or Reder who were associated with Robert Cushman before and after his 1606 marriage to Sara in Canterbury, Kent.

“The 31st of July 1606 were married Robert Cushman, unto Sara Reder dwelling with in precincte of Christchurche”
Source: Canterbury, St. Alphege Church, composite parish register, CMB 1558-1653, CCA-U3-8/1/A, 1558-1812, Canterbury Cathedral Archives

I think it is important to include only known historical information so as not to mislead descendants and others. Respectfully submitted.

Best wishes,

Mike Paulick

David Nym McCullough Jr
For some reason, I keep getting an error message when trying to send you an SAC on Memorial# 7780088. So I am copying my message here.

Due to an error in the Oakland transcription book giving a different burial location for him, I accidentally duped this memorial. I have deleted my entry, but wanted to give you the obituary transcriptions I had on my memorial for him:

January 8, 1898, Constitution
The Infant of Councilman McCullough died about 4 o'clock this morning.

January 9, 1898, Constitution
Infant Dies Very Suddenly
Son of Mr. D. N. McCullough Passed Away Yesterday

D. N. McCullough, Jr., the ten-months-old child of Mr. and Mrs. D. N. McCullough, died yesterday morning at the home of its parents, 85 Luckie street, after a very brief illness. It was not thought that the illness of the child was very serious and the death is a sad blow to the parents.

The friends of Mr. and Mrs. McCullough will be grieved to learn of their sad bereavement. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the residence and the interment will be in Oakland cemetery.

Richard L. Roberts
I just wanted you to know that Richard L. Roberts, memorial #39902148, Key West Cemetery was not the Richard Roberts who brought the Bahama house over to Key West on a barge and erected it next to the home of John Bartlum. Wrong Richard Roberts.

Sincerely,
Donna

This is such a nice memorial. Thank you for all your hard work. It is so time consuming. May I save it to my ancestor. I have a family tree "The Layton Family Tree" there are some pics there and some info you are very welcome to use if you like. I haven't gotten a lot done. Most of what I find is on the internet and thanks to other searchers. I sure wish I had listened closer to my grandparents and parents.
