|Marie Varrelman Melchiori, CG, CGL||Nuns buried at Holy Cross|
Jean, My husbands great aunt was Ottilia Dallavalle aka Sister Mary Natalina. She is buried in the Franciscan Sister's Plot, Block H, Sections 58-59, A,C,B,D.
I'd like to enter her into Find A Grave but don't want to do it if she has already been entered. Unfortunately I don't find her listed under "Sister", "Natalina" or "Dallavalle"
How do you handle the multiple burials? I've seen the marker and it's an obelisk with multiple names.
Many thanks Marie

I am actually in contact with that Polish researcher and am trying to help him. If he has already contacted you, then you have probably already given him all the data that you have. I was trying to tease out any additional details about this family since he's trying to track down Josephine's sister Stella now. Every little clue helps. Thanks for the reply. Sandy

Dear Mrs. Dupon
My mother knew Martin back in Poland. She was best friends with his brother. I just started on Findagrave since my son found some stuff for his partner. This Internet stuff is amazing. Mother would be so happy finding this stuff! Thank you much! She must have known alot of your family from the old country.

|DENISE MARSHALL||RE: Janowska/Janowski|
Hi Jean, The only help that I can share with you is that Julia's maiden name was listed as being Frankoska (or possibly mispelled and should have been Frankowska) on her children's birth records.Her first name is listed as Julyjana which I believe was mispelled by the same person. My great-grandfather came to this country 1885 from Germany landing in Phildelphia. He later ended up in Jersey City married to Julia. I don't know either of Thomas or Julia's parents. I just know that my great-grandfather was Polish but listed his birth place as Königsberg, East Prussia Germany on his Naturalization Record. Also, I find that New Jersey list Julia's death year as 1894 but Holy Name Cemetery lists her death year as 1895? Denise

Hi Jean, I see that you have set up a memorial on Find A Grave for Julia Janowska who was married to my great-grandfather Thomas Edward Johnson (originally Tomasz Janowski and then changed to Johnson). Julia is buried with my great-grandfather & my great-grandmother his second wife, & Veronica one of my grand aunts. I am wondering if you are related to Julia as I am having trouble trying to trace my great-grandfather Polish roots. Julia (I think her name was really Julianna) was the mother of 2 sons Robert (possibly originally named Romaldy) & Stephen and one daughter Anna (I think her birth name was MaryAnna), and one male child unnamed (whom I believed died the same month as his mother). Again, I am hoping that you may either be related and/or have the key to where I can start following Julia & Tomasz Polish roots?
Thanks, Denise Marshall http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=mr&MRid=47856057&
