I just found your photo of Louisaʻs grave stone... thank you for posting it. Louise is my husbandʻs great grand aunt... may I use the photo on my private family tree? I always give credit to the members who allow me to use their photos. Thanks so much...

James/Schrock Cemetery - Portage
Brendan Clancy announced at his State of the Township address at the Bonner Senior Center on Feb. 13, 2014: Improvements to James-Schrock Cemetery - A steep incline at the main entrance has prohibited access to many visitors. We are currently under construction of a new entrance into James/Schrock Cemetery. As soon as the weather cooperates we will continue with this project. Also, a new James-Schrock memorial monument will be installed at McCool Cemetery. This monument will list the names of the deceased at James-Schrock Cemetery. A dedication ceremony is being planned.~Kathy

Hi Kaleen -- Thank you for the photos and info! I did adjust George's date and added the nickname of "Val" for Valentine Breier. Also thanks for noting the plot locations. I added those to their memorials as well : )

You were correct about the d.o.d. for Wm. His marker was a military marker with no dates but someone had made and placed a makeshift marker in front of his military marker.

Yes, I am just wondering. I am a new contributor to Find A Grave and I would like to know if you could possibly share some of your entries at the Blake Cemetary in Portage IN. Specifically the following;
Billie Joe Sims, Dorothy Sims and Mary Anna Redman.
As I said, I am new to this and don't know what the process entails, but I saw where others had transferred info to people. Any help is grealy appreciated. Thank You - Ronnie Sims in Newbern TN.

|Tanya W||Thomas J Coffey|
I have a similar ancestor in my tree, a Thomas Coffey son of David and Anna (Lennon) Coffey. I wondered if you knew of them. Anna is my grt grandfather's 1st cousin. His name was John Joseph Rothwell. He had a sister, Susan that helped raise Anna and her older sister, Mary Lennon after their mother, Anastasia (Rothwell) Lennon died in 1882. Anastasia was married to Felix Lennon in Kingston Canada in Nov 1880
I just wondered if you may know of this family and if Thomas J Coffey is related to David and Anna (Lennon) Coffey from Cook County, Illinois.
I would love to connect with you if you are related to this family.

|Andy Gappa||RE: Engelhart Bachmann-Waldheim Cemetery-Gary, Lake, IN|
No problem. I shot that photo because I thought he might be connected to a Bachmann in the Hessville Cemetery near my house. If you know of any other stones you need from the Gary area, let me know. I'm not afraid to go in and get them. Hope to hear from you soon.

I see that Mike Virus had a brother named Joseph. Just curious if his brother Joseph was married to Mattie Oretta Roberson-Virus. If so, that is a relation to me.

I see you are related to the Reich's. I posted many of them from Oak Hill in Hammond. We just fixed the urn on this marker 6 weeks ago! I also posted some I found at Oak Glen Lutheran Cemetery in Lansing, Illinois near Hammond. Do you have any links to the family history?

|Holland St John||Wilson Jones|
Kaleen: Would you like me to transfer maintenance of Wilson's memorial to you? He was a brother to my great grandfather David Jones. Wow! Wilson and Elizabeth had twelve children (and possibly one more). Did I have a chore researching that flock! I would be happy to have you take it over, if you wish. Also his wife Elizabeth (Downen) Jones. They are your directed ancestors.
