|Lynne Mall||RE: Absolum Roberts Photo|
I am doing the family history for Jack Roberts. His greatgrandfather was James Fleming, brother to Mauda. I have a photo of James, but not of the other children. I am just getting started on this project for Jack. If there is anything I have on the Roberts family that you might be interested in, let me know.
Jack was born in West Virginia where it appears that most of the Roberts family originated.
Would it be okay for me to use the two photos you posted. I would like to include them in Jack Roberts' family history story.

Did you post this photo for Absolum. If so, are you related to the Roberts family and would you have other photos such as his son James Flemming Roberts or their wives.

|Jo Ellen Reynolds||RE: John Plybon|
Since I wrote you I have discovered a picture that you posted of my grandmother and John Plybon. That clinches it. Would you have any other picture of them? Do you know when or where they were married? Do you know how they met? She was born in West Virginia but she spent most of her life in Ohio. Do you know how John died and why he was back in West Virginia when he died? I always got the feeling that he was a very kind man. I think he made her very happy. I think I have a formal portrait of them but I will need to find it if you would like to have it. I believe I met him once. I remember seeing his shaving stuff, brush and cup, in the bathroom. Very odd memory isn't it? Well, I was probably 10. My grandmother is buried beside her first husband under her first married name of Hager in Westervllle, Ohio. I thought that was odd that she wasn't buried under the name of Plybon. Looking at the pictures of John and Tennessee I think they were also very happy. Really,I don't think that was common. Thanks for your help.

I see that you uploaded a picture of John Plybon who was born in 1888 and died in 1964 in Cabell County, West Virginia. He looks like my grandmother, Mary Ellen Adkin Hager's second husband. If this is the right man, they lived in Ohio. Do you know anything about him? I have not been able to find a death certificate for him or verification of when he died such as a social security death record. Thanks

Any idea where the first wife is buried?

Could you please tell me if this was a second marriage for Mae? Clarence A Robbins was married to Eppsie Bowen who died in 1962. Clarence died in 1985, plenty of time to have been married to another lady.

|Davina Bedsole||Christian and Johnson lineage|
After reading your postings on different memorials, I believe we are second cousins. Zora Estelle (Christian) Haynes is my paternal grandmother. Lafe Haynes is my father. Thanks for all of your contribution to findagrave.com. I have a strong interest in my lineage but being in Florida limits my ability to search in person. I was wondering if there is any information on William Allen Christian's lineage or his wife's grandparents or beyond. I look forward to hearing from you.
