Do you think he is buried with his Dad or his wife
Most men are buried with their wives not their dads

you are welcome
You are very welcome. I am grateful to people who have taken photos of my relative's markers, so trying to pass along the same favor for someone else is the least I can do. Take care!

Jack Leach
Leach family
Dear C J Swann
I am new at researching family ancestry, I belong to find a grave and I saw where you wrote to Abby Brock-Lane about John T Leach 1817-1900 and HIs wife Rebecca Reavis Leach 1819-1907. ( My GG Grandfather and GG Grandmother ) She says that they are buried at Turkey Creek Cemetery. You asked her how she new they were buried there. I also saw where you also posted sever other persons in my Leach family in Turkey Creek. I was wondering if you got a answer from Abby Brock-Lane of how she know for sure that my GG Grandfather and GG Grandmother were for sure buried in Turkey Creek. You are welcome to view my tree ( Jack W Leach family tree ). Any help that you could be would be apprecated. Thank you for what you do.
Warm Regards
Jack W Leach

Thank You
Dear CJSwann,

Thank you for correcting Georgia's maiden name to Davies.

We would like to use the headstone photo that you posted on her page for her family page we have on listing your name as said photographer, but need your approval.

Again, we are asking for transfer of her page to our care. Her brother, Uncle Charles E Davies/Frampton passed away Nov 21, 2015 and we were working on our Davies Family at the time of his passing.

Blessings for the work you did for Georgia's page, it is appreciated by the Davies/Frampton Families.

Betty Jean
Cousin by marriage

Sounds like a good decision. Her son Elisha Ray Steed married my 2nd cousin 1x removed, Thelma Louise Robertson. So I'm not related to Emma--just interested. I've had to make similar decisions.

Ray grandchildren
Thank you. I think I understand now. I thought they were siblings. Tildy was listed as a Ray in the 1900 census. I thought it was sad that Matilda was a widow living by herself in 1910.

Do you know if Obediah and his first wife had children?
All I know is that Aunt Minnie Childers Ray had no children.

William C. Ray
I was so glad to find in the memorial you created for William C. Ray, a picture that my husband's family owns. Obediah Gregory Ray was married to Mary Baxter and to Minnie Childers. Minnie was my mother in law's aunt. Minnie Childers Ray died in Madison County Alabama in 1957 and was buried in Hayden Cemetery at New Hope, Alabama. She had no children and lived with her sister's children when she was older. There are several pictures of her and Uncle Obe. The picture you say is William Ray, his wife, and grandchildren is one that has puzzled us for years. I found O. G. Ray's Tennessee death cert. and his marriage record to Mary Baxter and to Minnie Childers. The 1st marriage license has Obediah Gregory Ray, 25 yrs. old, born in Moore County Tennessee. Thank you for all you have done.

I happen to go back after I left you a message and read your bio. If you are not happy with my adding the obit for Mr. Bomar, I will gladly take is down.I could not decide if you considered it the same as a death certificate or not. Please, just let me know if you wish for me to take it down. I do find them so helpful in doing my research on my family.

I have added a copy of his obit. that I recently found. My aunt helped a lady in Columbia, Tn. clean out her house as she was going into a nursing home. This lady lived to age 108 only dying recently. This obit from 1943 was in a box of newspaper clippings that she past on to me.
