Saint Andre Bessette memorial # 18755647
Dear Debi;

I remember you told me you weren't able to get him on the famous list I asked a few friends to see if they could help. I will copy and paste their suggestions below and hope it helps you get his memorial listed as famous. I belong to find a group on facebook

Glendora Whetstone The bio has to meet those standards in that link I posted. Like no paragraphs, no abbreviations, etc. If you want to share it with us, we can see if we can help.

Melissa Myers the memorial number is Find A Grave Memorial# 18755647

Glendora Whetstone Right off, it has to be all one paragraph and the Heading has to be what they were.

Jackie Wilson Goddard Melissa Myers, here is the memorial for St. Augustine to use as an example.

Jackie Wilson Goddard A famous bio needs to be on the order of an encyclopedia entry.

Melissa Myers the one or two Encyclopedia entries I used were in paragraph form

Glendora Whetstone You have to write it in your original words and it all has to be in one long paragraph.

Glendora Whetstone tells you all the little things that to which it must conform.

Jackie Wilson Goddard I wasn't meaning "formatted" like an encyclopedia entry; I meant the info needs to be written like an encyclopedia entry. So, on St. Andre Bessette's, the last two paragraphs need to be removed right off the bat. Probably the prayer, also.

Melissa Myers May I copy your suggestions and send them to the person who created the memorial?

Glendora Whetstone Then just make it one big paragraph.

Jackie Wilson Goddard Please do! Be sure to include the Famous Bio link Glendora included above.

Glendora Whetstone Sure and send her that link too.

Glendora Whetstone I see the creator has gotten one through Famous before. She stands a much better chance than me for sure.

RE: Andre Bessette
Also I don't think people see those stars on the bottom to vote on how famous a person was.

RE: Andre Bessette
Your welcome. I have two holy cards of his and I watched on EWTN the mass where he was Canonized and that was special for me.

Re: Mitchell F. "Mitch" Jayne

Debi Ann,

Just a small correction. The radio station where Mitch had his Hickory Holler program is KSMO, not KMOS.

Memorial to Mitch Jayne
Just read the beautiful memorial to Mitch that you did. Though I didn't know him personally, my father did and from what Dad told me about him, you captured the gentleman to a T.

I have asked one of the Administrators to see about changing his status to Famous. I can't think of a single person more deserving of that status.

Andre Bessette
Andre Bessette is now a saint. He is buried in St. Joseph's church he helped build. The remains of Bessette lie in the church he helped build. His body lies in a tomb built below the Oratory's Main Chapel, except for his heart, which is preserved in a reliquary in the same Oratory. The heart was stolen in March 1973, but recovered in December 1974. This is the website that I got his information from for the burial location.

E Dempsey Young#17005064
Hi Debi, I have a very strange request. I recently photographed the entire Pigg River Primitive Baptist church where Dempsey is buried. When I went to f-a-g to enter the photo of his marker, there were no more spaces available, as there are only 5 allowed. The guy that created the memorial and you have the same photo of Dempsey in a hard hat, my question or request, would you consider removing one, so I can put his marker on there, or either I could email you the picture and you can enter it. Any consideration would be appreciated, thanks, Larry
