Green Cemetery
Thank you for the photos at Green Cemetery - the ones I requested and the ones I didn't. It was good to have the GPS locations too. If you have one, can you submit a photo of the cemetery also? (I know that is cheeky of me to ask)

Thanks Michael! I had not looked at his memorial. That is a nice photo of his marker. I would bet that John had the same thing but his was lost.

Michael,
Did you take a closeup photo of Claude's marker? If not, could I ask you to do that? I don't have any details on him, or his parents, if they are there also. I don't even have enough info right now to even create the memorials. Just any time that would work for you. It rained here all day today, so am guessing you also received the same. I live on the NC/VA border between Rt 85 and Rt 95.
I truly appreciate your help with this family.

John L Hall
Well since John died in 2014, they evidently did not give him a tombstone. However, I want to thank you for your efforts in trying to find one for me. I truly appreciate your efforts on my behalf. Maybe they will put one out for him later.

Michael you posted a photo of a footstone for Eudora B Williams, the memorial is not managed by you but I was wondering if I could have permission to use your photo in a family tree. Eudora's footstone is in the Ceder Cemetery, Milton, Caswell County, North Carolina. thanks so much Linda

Broken Headstones found
Someone found two broken Tombstones beside the road of African American WW2 Veterans. I did a little research and they may have come from Elijah Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Person county. I saw this come by one of my Facebook Genealogical pages and started to research them a few minutes ago. If you are on Facebook I can direct you to the page or give you further info if you are interested in taking a glimpse to see if they came from same cemetery. It's a shame for them to be missing their headstone.

Swanson/Gupton Cemetery, Franklin Co
Could you give me directions as to where this cemetery is located in Franklin Co. I have friends with ancestors buried there and they have not been able to locate it. I also have both names in my family tree.

Thanks,
Jean

Links
With the easy availability of NC death certificates, I can see NC being linked in a few years. My NC people are "Newton" per DNA, but while I have helped lots of people find their families, I haven't figured out where we connect into the Newton family. Although I am a fast and accurate typer and have enjoyed transcribing cemeteries, I have spent the last couple of years trying to update and link the ones I have already built. I am careful who I transfer memorials to since there are so many people who request mass transfers then quickly lose interest. [or die] If I own any of your people just let me know. Debra
