Debbie Banfield Barnes
re: Edweina Linn's grave
My grandmother is Edweina Linn. She is buried next to her 2nd husband Mr. McClendon. I know she would want her name on Find A Grave to be Edweina Lucille Galbraith Linn. She was not married that long to Mr. McClendon & never went by his last name after he died. She would also like to have her children's names on there if possible. She had 4 children: Iris Linn Marshall, Rosemary Linn Yoho, Kathryn Linn Banfield & Harvey William Linn Jr., 10 grandchildren, 29 grandchildren & numerous great grandchildren. If this is an inconvenience I can become a contributor & take this over. Thank you, Debbie barnesdebbie6@aol.com

Information
First of all I want to Thank You for taking pictures at rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery and David Woody for his part also. I tried to write David a message but it said he was not taking messages so am trying you.
I am working on the Myer -Myers family history and live out of state.
I found a Gertrude Evans #77160303 in Rose Hill Memorial - Plot Section Love (26) L-254 # 6. She was born 14 Jan 1898 in Carrol co, AR.. She was the daughter of Edwin 'Edd' S and Mary E (Proctor) Evans. At the time of her marriage, 10 May 1914 she lived in Clifty, Madison co, AR. She married a Ralph Frederick Myer and they had 1 son Charles. In the 1920 Census they lived in Casper, WY were Ralph had lived before going to AR. No other Census on Ralph.
I found a Ralph Frederick Myer also buried in Rose Hill #77659966 Plot Sec Hillcrest (10) L-327, birth unknown (my Ralph born 14 Nov 1892, Chadwick, IL) and your Ralph died 1929.
I am thinking this has to be my Ralph and Gertie. Is there any information I might get from the funereal home or any place you might know.
Tks for any help.

RE: Family history
Thank you for replying. What I am trying to find out right now is WHO wrote the story on your memorial for John McClehnaghan b.1845 d.1918 If I can get in touch with that person who wrote the nice history that would be really awesome and a big help. In other words, if you are not a relative, where did you find all the information (the history) on him on the memorial that you manage.

Thanks again have a great day!

RE: Ancestor
HI There, thank you for your reply!
HA! We will probably never know if that crash really happened!
As far as John McClenaghan goes, where did this bio come from? I am very anxious to hear more about his son John of Dallas. John of Dallas is my GG grandfather, my dad's maternal grandfather. We have found a lot on him since we found the correct spelling of his name. Now we are lost on the years before he married my GG grandmother Blanche Slagle. There is a mystery surrounding a half sister named Roberta. She is the oldest, but we have not been able to figure out who her father is because on all the Census we have her name is either, Phipps, Vonphress, or McClanahan,(notice the different spelling) or her married name Kramer. She lived and died in St. Louis. What I would love most is to get in contact with someone that knows a lot about this family, a relative of some sort. There just has to be some living relatives somewhere.
Thank you for all of your help with this! If you can tell me where the bio is from that might help a lot. :)
Best

Oh my goodness! You have just made my day with the story attached to this memorial. Can you please tell me whom or where I can get more information on this family as the son John A McClenaghan is my great grandfather whom we have been searching for for a very long time. This is just absolutely fabulous! thank you!

Ann Erdman
Confederate Cemetery, Fayetteville
I was interested to see that you posted information about my third great-grand uncle, Ephraim Albert Dickson, as being buried at the Confederate Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

However, when I followed the link you posted to the Southern Memorial Association, his name does not appear among their list of who is buried there.

Do you know where you got the information in the first place? I'm exploring the Dickson branch of my family tree and am very interested.

The nearby Pea Ridge National Military Park does indeed have Ephraim listed as one of the Confederate soldiers who was killed in action there, but I can't seem to find confirmation about his burial site.

I appreciate any insight you can provide.

Deaton/Rhyne
Greg, was this note on Murdock McKenzie Deaton listing put there by you. Are you the relative?
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=DEA&GSpartial=1&GSbyrel=all&GSst=38&GScntry=4&GSsr=2961&GRid=8145080&

Ref:
Temporary grave marker.
He is my great greatgrandfather and I would like to make contact with other descendants.

Murdock is my wife's 3rd great grandfather. I.e. Mahana - Deaton.

What is the story behind the 'temporary grave marker'?

Also, I have the spelling RHYNE not RYAN.

Bob
