Jean, here is a copy of the message you left for me on Find-a-grave. I don't know what you needed.
I understand your frustration. I have the same problem with not being able to walk or stand too long. You are blessed that your husband can help you. My husband has spinal stenosis so he is more immobile than me. We have just decided to do what we can and not worry about the other things. I just presumed you had found what you wanted to ask me.
Take care. Linda

Bessie Irene Green Holland
you can add John Aubrey Holland Sr. as a child of Bessie Irene Green Holland and Raymond Franklin Holland. John was my uncle. He died in December of 2008 and is buried in the bangs Cemetery with my grandparents. I am the granddaughter of Raymond and Bessie and the daughter of their youngest daughter Wanda Jean Holland Middleton. They also have a son buried in Brownwood. His name was Lonnie Merle Holland and he died in January of 1988. I am sorry but I cannot remember the name of the cemetery.

Zachariah Philpott b. 1758
On the grave of Zachariah Philpott b. 1758, there are flowers and note that states: Zachariah Philpott, Sr. was born Dec 20, 1758 in Charles Co. MD. He died Nov 9, 1836 in Cumberland Co. Ky. He was the 4th son and the 5th child of John T. Philpott and Mary E. Keech Glover Philpott. He married Cassandra Garrett Philpott, daughter of John Garrett and Mary Glover Garrett. They married Dec 3, 1781 in Frederick Co. MD.

I am trying to point out that records reflect that John Garrett was married to Margaret Baker per marriage records. I do not know where the Mary Glover Garrett (married to John Garrett) came from... I thought you and Roots & Branches were one and the same person and I sent this note to them in error...

I am sorry about that! I am now sending a note to you, who left the flowers and note... Deb

On a grave, you wrote: I have this same info in my information for the Philpott family. It came from a book called Meet Your Ancestors, Descendents of Edward Philpott (1597?-1678). Written by Noland (Hubbard) Bowling." Do you mind looking at the book and seeing if there is any information on Zachariah Philpott Graves who was first born of Cassander Philpott (c1801-1856) and John W Graves (c 1790-abt 1874). If there is anything, could you share what it is. Thank you very much. A descendant... Deb #47140658

Calvin McDonald obituary
Thank you for posting an obituary to memorial # 8531198. I was curious if he was a relation and your posting that obituary years ago helped answer that question quickly. I appreciate you taking the time to do that...

Candis "Candy" Elizabeth Puckett
Jean, you asked if anyone had any information on this person since she was Jacob Milton Simms' first wife.

She was born 25 Dec 1847 in Lincoln County, Tennessee. She married Jacob on 15 Jan 1868.

This information was handed down to me through family sources so it is only as accurate as what was handed down.

I have information on all 14 of George and Martha's children. I also have information on George Puckett's first wife, Elenorah Von Hooser and their children if you are interested. It is not 100% complete but I have some.

Judy Mayo
Hello from Judy Mayo
Hi Jean,

I'm John Jay Oxford's granddaughter. I'm looking for information about Mary Ann Jackson Oxford who married Brinkley Oxford in 1853. Her father was James Jackson, b about 1804. James Jackson and family moved from St. Clair, IL to Hopkins Co TX sometime after 1850 (US Census). James was born in either Kentucky or Tennessee. There is some beliefs that James Jackson's father (maybe Robert Jackson) was a brother of President Andrew Jackson's father (also named Andrew Jackson, Sr). I have not been able to make that connection or to be sure who is James Jackson's father. Andrew Jackson Sr and Robert Jackson both were born in Ireland and died in the US. My family lore has always said that we were distant cousins of Andrew Jackson and I would like to see if that is correct. I appreciate any help you could give me. Thanks!

Susannah Hastings
Jean, I went to Hastings Camp Ground Cemetery to make a picture for myself, but had also looked to see what photo requests there were for others. I found your two requests, was able to make a picture of Susannah's headstone but couldn't find Willis Hastings'. The cemetery is now "New Hope Cemetery" and I have also posted a picture of that sign on Susannah's memorial. If you want the new name removed, please advise. You may (or may not) want to change the cemetery name on your memorials and/or notify F.A.G. to merge the two cemeteries.
