Sorry about the delayed response. Summertime means I'm outside. But, yes, I would be glad to post any info you have.

RE: Hedrick Geneaology
Hello Kenneth,

I did not even know there was a Hedrick book that existed. It must be full of lots of information on the Hedrick family. they are distant relatives of mine.

Hi Ken,
Thank you for all your hard work. I noticed that you have 3 separate listings for the above mentioned person - 111817094, 111817107, 111817095.
The most complete is 111817094 - however, according to her birth certificate it is Lina.
You should delete the other two listings.
Thanks again

John Stoner
Nancy Lee Richardson (Patterson)
Noticed that Nancy was not listed as one of the children of Esther (Stoner) Richardson and Melvin Richardson...also, are you related to Paul Henry Sell ? Ran across all this during my research of my Stoner Family....Very tragic story of Nancy and Deborah ...pleased that the actual killer was discovered so many years after the crime....must have been so difficult for the families involved. ...John Stoner

Harmon Strine #39086632

Dear Kenneth D. Sell,

Would you happen to know who the parents of Harmon Strine #39086632 are ?

Since Harmon Strine was born in 1823, it's hard to find a record of his birth and who his parents are?

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Bessie M. Knouff (Wiltshire)
In the children of John Knouff and Julia Ann Sell Knouff, you have Bessie M. Knouff list as having died in 1884. This is incorrect, Bessie married Isaac Wiltshire and moved to Town Creek, Alabama. She died Dec. 3, 1982 at 103 years of age. She was my great aunt. Her brother Sherman Sell Knouff was my grandfather.

Tammy Robertson
Robertsons in Taft Cemetery
Hello. Thanks for the additional information for the Robertsons in Taft Cememetery. I am finding that I have different dates for James M Robertson than was listed on the headstone and I was wondering if you know of another James Robertson in the area that might have had similar dates. The SS record has "James Robertson
SSN: 413-18-0144
37334 Fayetteville, Lincoln, Tennessee, USA
BORN: 19 Jul 1889
DIED: Jul 1971
STATE (YEAR) SSN ISSUED: Tennessee (Before 1951)

So I am wondering if it might be two different people?

Walter Hood
Ken, Walter went to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine arts but he got his BA from the University of Pennsylvania--in one year! His credits from his year at Antioch as well as all the work he had done at PAFA and then in Rome at the American Academy of Rome enabled him to do that. Oh, and he did his MA at University of Hawaii--in 9 months! His comment when I exclaimed was, " That was all I had money for! So I had to get it done in that time."

I don't know who Bernice is--supposed to be a half sister, unless that is the baby that died shortly after Pop's first wife died in child birth. That child died shortly after Pop's first wife died. C. A. Jr. survived--1st born child. Pop Hood then married Maude Rebecca Clay who had been friends with Pop and the first wife. They had 4 boys--Richard, Calvin, Herbert and Walter. ALL 4 of those men graduated as Valedictorian of his class!

Thank you for writing this marvelous memorial for Walter--I just found it quite by accident while googling his name. Incidentally--wasn't the premier's name Hideki Tojo? I think you accidentally hit an H where the K should be! I still have the yen note that Tojo autographed for Walter.
