David Milton Woods Memorial #7808519. You wrote about his service. I was wondering if you knew who he served for. And if you had any other information the others in his family how they served. Thanks.

Thanks for use of photos. Peneirra Tennessee Moser Hamby is my 1st cousin 3X removed thru her mother Mary Adeline Swanson who married Francis Marion Moser. Mary Adeline Moser is sister to Ruth C. Swanson(my 2nd great grandmother) who married Andrew Jackson Moser 'Blind Jack'. Francis Marion Moser is the son of John Paul Moser 'Old Johnnie' and Mary Sheets. John Paul Moser is brother to mu 3rd great grandfather Peter Moser who married Maria Magdalena Balliet. So this means there is a double connection in the Moser-Swanson marriages. Hope this is not confusing. wrmcferrin

|Cindy||Moore Family in MO|
Noticed your Moore posts on FindaGrave in MO. I have a line of Moore's in the Greene & Christian County areas. GGGGrandfather was Edward "Ned" Moore b. 1806, Lincoln, KY d. 1901 Brookline, Greene Co. MO. His wife was his double first cousin, Elizabeth Moore Moore, b. 1809 Lincoln, KY d. 1843 Benton, MO.
Their parents were Moore brothers, Jonathon & Samuel and their mothers were Sarah and Elizabeth "Betsy" Berry.
Both the Berry's and Moore's were originally from NC.
Does any of this fit with your Moore lines? You can reach me at email@example.com Please put MOORE/BERRY in the subject line.

I just have a question for you. My Gr gr grandpa is also named James Knox Polk Moore #32271871. Not the same as your. But what I was wondering is do you have any idea where the "Knox Polk" came from? It's an odd name so I figure it must have been someone important at some time or another. Thanks Debi Nichols - Moore

There is an edit button on each page at the upper top right. That's what it is for. That way I can be sure I am dealing with the correct listing and don't have to go through my listing to find it.
I don't work with corrections left on my message board.

You are very welcome. I am assisting a person who requested the photo and thought that you might like to have that information. We also have a copy of the cemetery listing thanks to a member of the cemetery board. Let me know if I can be of any assistance in the future. -- dennis

Question: I notice that you have different dates for birth & death on the Find A Grave memorial from the actual grave marker ??? And also that you make mention on her memorial that her parents are buried in Kansas ... any idea the cemetery in Kansas? Thanks.

|Sarah Locklin Taylor||RE: James L. Neatherlin|
James and Millie Neatherlin are not relatives of mine. Lyn St. Peter added the memorial for James L Neatherlin and I created the one for Millie. Due to your message, I looked up the TX Death Certificate for James and found it listed on the Family Search site under the name of Weatherlin instead of Neatherlin. His father was also a James and his mother was Kate Yoakum of Indiana. At Ancestry, there is a family tree for the Neatherlin family that shows James L's full name as James Lefette Levi Neatherlin and Millie as Millie Myrtle Williams. James L's parents are listed in that tree as James P. Neatherline, born in Williamson Co., TX and Kate Evelyn Yoakum born in Princeton, Indiana.
Also, in searching TX Death records for children of Neatherlin & Williams (last names only), I found a daughter Christine Elizabeth Neatherlin Kornegay that I did not notice being listed in Millie's obit. Christine died in Houston, Harris Co., TX on July 25, 1970 and is buried at Memorial Oaks Cemetery.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for putting the Gambles on-line. I am distantly related to you thru the Russells. Alexander Gamble was a son of Mary Russell who was a sister to my forbearer. I've never been to the Fairview Cemetery and it's nice to see their stones on-line.
