Alma Stickney
I see that you put on Alma Stickney on at Terrace Heights Memorial Park. She is at Tahoma Cemetery, also in Yakima.

She is in Section C, Block 160, Qtr NE, Lot 7. Her husband is next to her. I was wondering if you could move her to the correct location. Thank you.

Find A Grave Memorial# 9093914
Stephen's memorial states he died in 1968 but his headstone clearly states died 1927. Stephen and his wife are also both listed on the 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 US census. Something is not right.
Thanks Brenda

I've looked at the memorial for Nathan Wilbur in the Waites Corner Cemetery in Owego, NY and see that Samuel is included among his children. I've been looking for documentation of this fact. Can you help?

Margaret Jane Pollock Burgess Memorial# 9104199

This is my great grandmother and I have visited her grave often. I have done some Genealogical research about her and my great grandfather. My grandfather was Norman Burgess their second son. Her mother was Anne Wallace and her father was Alexander Pollock. She died of Cancer of the stomach.

Her father is buried in the same cemetery. I don't know where her mother is buried. Her father married 3 times. I think he took his own life.

If I can be of any help please contact me.

Cudaback grave marker
Hi, just got back from Rose City cemetery. I got the plot diagram for I 249. There are no tombstones for Malinda or George. I checked other names in the same plot which have markers so I know I was in the right area. Sorry.

I see that you have Solomon Paine Memorial. My direct line is His Sister. Are you connected? Also, on my other side is Brown and Long. Wonder if any of your 'DeLong's shortened their surname?
On my Long side we have Marion and Francis's. Interesting.
Thank You.

Possibly Jane Rousseau left me a message regarding my Smithpeter question. However the findagrave link didn't send me to a message, so I don't know what she said. Can you send me another message? thank you

According to the book "Upon A Lonely Hill" by Jeffrey L Carrier who was at this cemetery on April 6, 1983, the tombstone or tombstones are titled Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smithpeters born and died 1700's. Is it possible to get photos for these, I see the photo requests were in 2007?
If not, an explanation on their page would be helpful. Michael and Mary are my 3rd great grandparents. Thank you
Julie Glass

Norman Burgess
My family descends from Norman Burgess. He died in Cedar Rapids and we have that he is possibly buried in Pioneer or Buffalo Cemetery in the Cedar Rapids area. Since Norman and Ursula were dirt poor and would have had a hard time being buried in Wisconsin, I am wondering where your information came from that they were both buried in the Hustisford Cemetery. When Norman and his family were living in the Hustisford area, he purchased 4 plots at the Hustisford Cemetery. Three of his descendants are buried in three of the four plots.

Thank you
David Burgess

Mary E Sullivan Gumaer
Hi DeLong Family -

I've posted a photo of the headstone for Mary but do be aware that she is buried in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, Orange County, New York where this photo was taken.

Apparently she died and was buried in NY before her husband moved West.

I've added a caption to the photo and sent you a message under the edit feature, as well as one under Mary'shusband's name, too. He's listed in the wrong cemetery in MI.

Maud McCreary
I hope Iím not imposing please let me know if I amÖ my name is Michelle Gorbatjuk. Iíve just started doing research on my family tree. I was looking for my Grandmotherís mother whose name is Maud McCreary and found her on I noticed you added the memorial and all the memorialís from Dunkard Cemetery in Shannon County Missouri. And everyone listed on the memorial is correct-all her kids, her husband, where she died-etc etc. The reason Iím emailing though is that we thought she was buried at a Dunkard Cemetery in Iowa by my Grandma. She has a tomb stone there. Like I said Iím just starting to do research and Iím confused. It does look like the Dunkard in Missouri is a family cemetery and someone has heard that the Dunkard Cemetery in Iowa started out being a family cemetery that grew. Could they have been started by the same family? And could Maud be buried in one and has a memorial stone in the other? Iím not sure if you can answer those questions for me-but I thought maybe youíd be a place to start since it looks like youíre so knowledgeable. Thanks for any help you can give me. Bennet family in Laurel Grove Cem
Hi DeLong Family,

I'm in the midst of researching an article on Galen Bennet, his extended family and, in general, the Laurel Grove Cemetery in Port Jervis NY.

I've left a number of spelling corrections on your memorials, based on headstone photos for the Bennet family, all with a single "t" surname ending.

There are also a number of later duplicates of these Bennet memorials by other contributors. I'd like to ask them to delete those duplicates, but don't want to do so until your original & earlier listing surnames are corrected.

Thanks, Jane "ATJ"

Nathan Taylor
The DeLong Family
Hi. I am working on short biographies of individuals in the DeLong line in my ancestry, most of whom are from Ohio, and quite a few of whom fought in the American Civil War. Some of them may have gone west in wagon trains to resettle following the Homestead Act of 1862. I would like to encourage you to visit if you have not already done so. It is a free website that is fairly easy to use, and you can collaborate with others in compiling not only family trees but also individual ancestor biographies. You might find some details there to add to your Find A Grave memorials (names, dates, locations). Who knows, perhaps our family trees overlap. -Nathan

you are the manager for the person you wrote about.
