Hello. Today I walked the Eagle Mills Cemetery looking to fill photo requests. It is a well maintained cemetery and easy to walk. I did not find the stones you requested. There were some old, worn stones that were unreadable. There were a couple stones that had fallen face down. I try to be careful but could have missed a name. I wanted to let you know your requests are active and not overlooked.

vesusblue,

may I add the photo and obituary of my cousin to my family tree? I also wanted to thank you for providing the information as I live in Indiana and without your additions I would not have had access to the information.

Thanks,

Jeannie Little

Jana-Marie Johnson marker
I have posted a photo that you requested back in 2007. I am not sure why 2 others reported problems unless perhaps the marker was recently set. The marker is located in Saint Philip section, north most row, west corner. -Judy

Marilyn ML
McKinnon Wyo Cemetery
Was happy to see you had posted the family cemetery in McKinnon, Wyo. However, when I tried to add my grandparents it pulled them into the McKinnon City Cemetery which isn't right. So I added the McKinnon Terry Ranch which is where the cemetery is. It is no longer owend by the Terry family. Locals refer to these two cemeteries as East cemetery or the West cemetery. I do not know which is which. I know that Find A Grave does not like this kind of duplication but I did not know how to solve the problem.

Checked with the Cemetery Supt., no request has been submitted for a foundation--no stone has been placed.

Perhaps I can check back in a few weeks.

May I inquire as to how you got this particular name and location as one of your gravesites to manage?

You are very far away--I I wondered if there was a family or other personal connection. I was at the cemetery today for at least an hour--looking for this grave. I have all of the information that was listed on the FINDAGRAVE site--but, there is absolutely nothing that even comes close to a JOHNSON.

I am going to go to the TOWN HALL i speak with the person who holds the records and see what I can out.
Trust me, if it is there, I will take photos and I will post them.

My search was not in vain-I found the grave of one of my own relatives as well as the parents of that person.

Nena Smothers
Daniel Grass Memorial
Thanks kindly from my cousins and myself for his transfer, we are very appreciative. Not many know this but due to combined efforts of all of us cuzzies when we found out the gravestones in the Ole Rockport Cem were thrown in the gully due to the school being built there, we all wrote to the authorities in Spencer Co and made phone calls to see if someone could find them. The only one at that time still half intact was Daniel's and it is not the one in the picture. We have a pic of the old one and its hardly legible at all plus broken in half. They got the city and boy scouts to come clean up that whole area and they re ordered that stone for Daniel then found the other stones that were in the gullies or most of them and reset them. Then we got a grave douser to find where Daniel's wife and son were buried by him of which we hope to eventually get stones for them as none of theirs were found. So this really means allot to all of us. That is the rest of the story.......You're very kind to have done this memorial for Daniel. We are all very proud to be descendants of the Grass and Smeathers folks of Kentucky and Indiana, thanks!!

He Who is Formerly Known as zenmaster
Hi Venusblue
I am a 31 year active duty law enforcement officer. I have been on you site reading your warm and hearfelt rembereances to these poor souls who were taken by less than natural causes.

I deal with the grief and tragedy of others often and just wanted to say thank you for the care and compassion that you give, not only to the victims but to their surviving family memebers and friends.

I would be honored if you would add me as a friend. I will visit often and pay proper tribute and respect to your memorials.

Thanks again Don

Thank you!
In leaving tokens today, I came across your name and found the virtual cemetery to women in the military who have given their lives for this country. I was glad to have a group of them to honor as it's hard to find them sometimes. I came to PVT Sam Williams Huff, and the record had been deleted so I went to Arlington, typed in Huff and found two records listed for her. One had been deleted, but the other is good. Maybe you would like to take the deleted one out of your cemetery and add the good one. Just a suggestion. Thank you again for the cemetery.

Hello
I fulfilled your request for a photo of Lela's headstone.
I have just added June Larkin and Jason Baum to the mountain View Memorial Estates listing..
Jason is buried in the same grave as Lela, and his headstone is just above Lela's.

Cheers, Larry
