Christian and Margaretha Heylman/Heilmann
Hello Sue,
Thought you may be interested in a few DOCUMENTED FACTS regarding this lineage.
The marriage of Margaretha Becker and Christian Heilmann Sr. occurred 24 July 1736. The documentation is Kirchunbuch Ebangelical Lutheran Church Gauersheim, Germany. (it is also found on LDS Film #193854 "Permission given for the marriage of Christian Heylman and Margaretha Elisabeth legitimate daughter of Jacob Becker." Her first daughter Maria born in 1737 Germany. Maria married a German, Johannes Jurg (George) Ehrenhardt (I am related to both the Hileman and Ehrenhardt/Earnhart lineage) [The date of birth of this daughter also supports the date of Christian/Margaretha marriage of 1736].

Also the rumor of her being washed overboard found on Ancestry is just another misstated story. She is found in Pennsylvania records listed as the godparent of a grandchild and as a "sponsor for Hans Adam Baum and his legitimate wife, from Kircheimthe records. Longswamp Reformed Church, Longswamp Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania, Baptisms, 1762-1810

Thanks! If you want to transfer Christian and Margaretha- I also have scans of original documents I can poste with other information on this family. ~ CL Hileman 47502760

Ella Bower
The Ella Bower who died in 1922 and is buried at Roselawn Cemetery in Berwick did not have the maiden name of Yohey. Many Pennsylvania Death Certificates from 1906 to 1963 have recently become available at Ancestry.com. Hers indicates that her maiden name was Weiss. She and George Hurley Bower had nine children. They divorced sometime prior to 1920. - Jim Hartman

Sites you manage
Can I ask a question? You have some, possibly more, of my family members in your account. What happens when you pass on? How are these grave sites then managed if not by these people's families? Concerns me. I appreciate your work, just don't want to lose these and would be nice to manage them by our own family members. Thank you.

Ezra Bruce Hoyt, Mem. No. 17660397
Ezra Bruce Hoyt, per his WWII Draft Reg, stated that he was born on Sept. 23, 1877, in Huntington, Luzerne County, PA. In the 1880 and 1900 Census of Huntington, Luzerne County, PA, you will find Ezra B. Hoyt with his widowed father, Harrison S. Hoyt, and his siblings. I came across this info while searching for a person named Ezra Hoyt from Pa. Hope this helps to fill out the bio of your Ezra Bruce Hoyt.

Bonnie Dampman
Faber's
Hello Sue, I have been researching Abraham Faber who married Sarah Herbein. I found 2 documents that say that Abraham was born to John and Elizabeth Kerver. One was a death notice and one was a death notice for John Son of John and Anna Catherine Faber widower of Elizabeth Kerver. He was born October 26, 1788 and died April 9, 1870. Also found a doc that says Sarah relicot of Abraham Faber died October 15, 1890. Where did I go wrong? Thanks millions.

RE: Catherine B. Herner Yeager
Sue,

We spoke a few months back in February. I was wondering if you have had the time to see if you have any information on Catherine B. Herner Yeager. Her maiden name could also be spelled Hoerner, etc. Below is the original message I sent to you.

Sue,

Can you share any specific information that you have found in your research which confirms that Catherine B. Yeager (Herner) was a daughter of Jacob Horner and Elizabeth Baum of Berks County? I have found evidence that Jacob Horner was a soldier during the revolution and I am seeking assistance in confirming my family tree connection.
