RE: Kellys continued
Can't say I looked carefully at the other stones. I handle all genealogical requests received by Woodlawn as well as managing the find a grave requests. As a volunteer it eats about 2days a week. Having the plot location makes it much easier and quicker to fulfill requests.

I posted a picture of the Kelly family plot; there are many. The photo should be able to show you the details.

OK. Woodlawn has burials in the hundred thousands range so I wanted to make sure.

Achsah Black
Hi David,
Thanks for the correct information on this person. I have added the dates you gave me and her maiden name. If you find anything else please do not hesitate to let me know.
Thanks, John

Achsah Black
Hi David,

I received you note about Achsah Black that I have listed at Springfield Meeting House Cemetery. I'm not sure what you need me to correct on her Memorial? I looked at her and she is not connected with anyone. Be it parents or husband? Is it the dates that I need to remove? Maybe they are the dates for the other Achsah Lawrie your referring to? Let me know, I will be happy to remove those. Just want to make sure before I do.
Thanks, John

Hello David and thanks for creating a memorial for Robert Wright a great grandfather of mine :) (60507923) ~ It seems another memorial was created for him with a bit more info and also links to Ancestry (93642771) ~ Is there a way to merge the two memorials or add the Birth/Death info on the one you have created as it does line to Ancestry? Thanks much for your help. Judi

Hoguet - Fernwood
Hi David - I photographed the Hoguet stone at Fernwood this weekend. There are two names on the stone that don't have memorials - Henry F. (1846-1893) and Henry I. (1903-1904). Do you have an interest in creating these memorials?

I was at the Vernor cemetery today and have found a few photos. I noticed one of them Francis M is the son of Benjamin and Lucinda. You may want to link him to the family. Let me know if you need any more in my area.

RE: Mirkils at Lawnview
Right. I saw the butler marker, that was uncovered in an attempt to find your family's marker.

Is this grave marked by the cemetery? I will be happy to go if the grave is marked. This is not a hop skip and jump from my house so I don't want to waste time and gas on a fool's errand.

I am sure you feel the same way if roles were reversed.

I will not unearth a marker - that is the cemetery's responsibility.

RE: Mirkils at Lawnview
I will take pictures as long as you call the cemetery, tell them you are coming to take pictures and have them mark the graves.

RE: Mirkils at Lawnview
It was explained to me that there may have been upright headstones in the former cemetery, but because they were moved to this section of Lawnview, the stones could not come with the bodies because Lawnview does not allow uprights in this section.

Rommel-Bromley - Mount Peace
Regarding your two photo requests for Rommel and Bromley in Mount Peace I have some information for you.

One entire section of the on-line records show section V as section U. It is a microfilm operator's error. I have verified in other ways that the section is indeed V. In other words your lot stated U-299 is really V-299. We have been to the cemetery and all of the graves in the area of V-300 are not in sequence, underground rocks?, trees?, who knows. We couldn't find any of them. I now think that group was placed along the fence by, or within, the W section. Next time we are in the cemetery we will expand our search. Regards, -JohnF

David Seyferhelt-Mount Peace
Regarding your photo request for David Seyferhelt in Mount Peace I have some information for you.

The cemetery burial records show that David is buried in lot B-364 with Daniel Seyferhelt, age 72, buried 1889, and Mary Seyferhelt, age 84, buried 1897. A note on the lot record says "Headstone and sill removed summer 1936".

I am very familiar with this section of Mount Peace. I did three photos a few feet from this location in May. Most of the old marble & sandstone stones were removed by the cemetery many years because they sunk, toppled, or broke and became hazards to the mowing crews. There is virtually zero chance of finding anything on this lot. Regards, -JohnF

I am not able to locate any records for the Vernor Cemetery. In going through the Masonic Cemetery records here in Nashville there is nothing about these people. Sorry I was unable to help more.

Sharon Carter
Hi David,
I fulfilled the photo request for Sharon Carter at West Laurel Hill Cemetery yesterday but for some reason it is still showing up on the requests even though there is now a picture. I used the new App so that probably has something to do with it but I'm not sure. I wanted to let you know that it was done though.
Thanks and have a great weekend!

RE: Anna Booz
David, I found the record on Family Search while trying to find information about my 4th great grandmother. Her name was Mercy Ann VanHorn and she married Charles Booz. On most Census and other records she went by Anna… with the record having a middle initial of "M" it could be her… or it could be some other Anna with a surname/maiden name beginning with M… I just don't know, but since it's close, I wanted to research it and also to give you her death information.

I will the call the cemetery on Monday, to see what else is involved in the burial records. Since there's no headstone photo can you tell me how you came about making the memorial?

I don't know if this is her, but it could be… I have more research to do.

RE: Zachariah Fairchild photo
I got the photo from a member of when I added Zachariah to a line on my family tree. I eventually removed him from my tree as the sources didn't add up. I have no idea where he is really buried, as someone else created the memorial. I'm sorry I can't help you more.

RE: Margaret Rieley

I have found no enumerations of Margaret Rieley, consort of Louis Bache, even though she lived through 3 every-name censuses (1850-1870) where her nativity would have been indicated.

Her daughter, Margaret Bache Lott, died before the 1880 census when the nativity of parents was listed.

Her son, Louis Bache, reported in the 1880 census that he and both of his parents were born in PA.

That the only evidence of Margaret's nativity that is available...Pennsylvania.
