|Gregory Jennings||Yerba Buena Cemetery|
Looks like all the buried at Yerba Buena were eventually moved to the Golden Gate Cemetery and then were moved again to various cemeteries in Colma, Ca.
An estimate suggests that several thousand burials were never were removed and are still buried on the site of The Palace of the Legion of Honor and adjacent golf course.Finding your requested photo at this time is not possible and may take a vast amount of searching on your part.
I wish you luck, and thank you for your request,

Are you kin to Thomas Dyer? He is on my family tree. He is also my 9th great grand father. The information on his memorial matches what is on my tree.

Im glad I was able to help. It looks like someone recently put his stone back upright again which is great. I also added a few other Alden's to Find a Grave that were next to his plot, let me know if you want me to transfer them to you. Take care.

|Carla||RE: Burial of Renew Weeks|
She is listed under Renew Carpenter (Weeks).
I am descended in this way.
Benjamin Carpenter and Renew Weeks
1. Jotham Carpenter and Desire Martin
2. Jotham Carpenter and Mehitabel Thompson
3. Nathan Carpenter and Elizabeth Davis
4. Benjamin Carpenter and Phebe Weeks
5. Lewis Terrell Carpenter and Lucinda Howell
6. Isaac Ancil Carpenter and Nancy C Hammond
7. Sarah Louise Carpenter and Charles A Halsey
8. Jacob Sawyer Halsey and Gladys P Anawalt
9. Barbara Halsey and Charles Shaw
10. Finally me Carla
Someone has said that Phebe's last name is Weeks. I have yet to find anything, except for a possible birth in the Connecticut Town Births that show this. It doesn't list parents or the year of birth. I also have yet to find her death record. I wonder if Phebe is a descendant from Renew Weeks Carpenters line. Let me know if you have a connection down this far.

I am confused! Are Renew and Benjamin buried in Swansea, Massachusetts or Rhode Island? It states on Renew's memorial that the cemetery is in Swansea in the body of the memorial, but at the bottom it gives the address of the Cemetery as being in Rhode Island. Renew and Benjamin are my 8th great grandparents.

I just wanted you to know that I found and took a photo of Andrew and Lydia Wheaton's headstone in Burial Place Hill Cemetery in Rehoboth. I was in MA visiting family and noticed Andrew Wheaton did not have a photo of his grave on his memorial. I just uploaded the photo.

Sue: If you do head out this way, let me know when you will be available. Might be worth it to try to arrange to get access to the interior of the chapel. It's a very peaceful feeling, being inside of it.

Hi, Sue. I spend a lot of time in Oakwood Cemetery. It's a huge cemetery (several hundred acres) filled with many of our area's prominent politicians, military leaders, pioneering educators, and business people. Uncle Sam is even buried there! The Warren Chapel is probably the most impressive private structure there. (Besides the crematorium, of course.) When I am next able to get inside, I will photograph all of burial markers. Was inside once and there are several burials in the floor.

The info was entered from a transcription and I have no idea if they are buried in the same plot but it is very possible they are. You may want to just go ahead and request pictures of the stones if they exist. Good luck!

I just wanted to thank you for adding the photos of Amos S. Blackinton Jr, his wife, Susan Goss & their son Shirley Goss Blackinton. This is an excelent record to have. His stone is beautiful and very easily read. Do you by any chance know where his wife, Helen Ruth Fowler 1900-1998 was buried? I searched for her on Find A Grave but she's not listed. Thought you might know. Again Thanks, I really appreciate all you have done.
