If my memory serves me right, we found porbate records on www.familysearch.org

Brynn Edwards
Stokes
I was wondering if you were related to the Stokes since you have many of them under your care. I added a Matthew Stokes SR that I believe may be your Matthew Stokes JR's father and John Stokes' brother.

Robert Patterson
RE: Dawson Cemetery; Marshall Co, MS
I am not related to anyone there. A man who is a member of the Strawberry Plains M.B. Church took me there so I could transcribe and photograph the graves for Find A Grave. We photographed and transcribed every stone and marker we could find. There was one other stone that was too badly broken to transcribe. There were a lot of funeral home markers that no longer had names on them. If you click on the big cemetery photo I posted for Dawson Cemetery, you can read my description. The cemetery is located in the middle of dense woods that are choked with wild blackberry vines. There is no path or road leading to it - just a lot of guess-work and hacking your way through thousands of blackberry vines.

RE: Orson Ames
Linda,

Bummer. I was hoping to get back to
East Coast in the next couple of years &
it would save time to go right to the tombstones!
I have the Mexico book, too. My connection
is through my great, great aunt Nellie, who was
the daughter of Albert P. Ames. She believed
she was the last descendant of Orson Ames, her
grandfather.

Orson Ames & family
Linda, Can you tell me where Orson Ames and his wife Amy are buried in Mexico Village Cemetery. Also, is their son Albert P. Ames and his wife, Mary E., also buried there as well? Where are their graves located? These are my ancestors & I'm trying to piece this puzzle together. Thanks. Ellen

HE Eaves
Linda:

I am new to this, but I was searching for the grave of Harmon Eaves, father of Adolphus "Darby" Eaves and son of Graves Eaves and Margaret Suttle. The information I had was that his name was Harmon S. Eaves. I am not sure this H.E. Eaves is the same. Can you let me know? Thanks--

James Coston
Doris Miller Cemetery outside Waco, Tx.
There were 6 listings for photographs on findagrave last week, now there is only 1 but no additional photos have been added, just the 5 removed. My wife & I went out there today and obtained information on 4 of the 6. I will crop and resize and have info for Lillie Burkes, Bessie Howard, Hampton Moore and Lula Samuel posted later tonight.
Respectfully, James Coston

Eaves Family
Yes linda, I will share info with you. My Grandfather was Andrew David Eaves 1854-1945 and Grandmother was Margaret Caldonia Eaves 1856-1925. I have and old, old picture of them that is very faded. All I know is they were burried in Tenn at a place they called Center Church. They go back to Jonathan Eaves 1615-1660 Chikacoan Indian Terr. Va. Colony. Let me hear from you and maybe I will be able to send you some info on the family. My Mother was Hattie Mae Eaves (Thrasher 1898-1981. John Thrasher.
