|Geo ||Capt.(Maj) Bradley Cuthbert|
I have been looking for this serviceman on and off for my whole adult life. Internet has made so many things possible!
I read in your post that your parents had the POW bracelet for this VietNam Army member.I also had the bracelet with his info on it.I wore it from when I was 10 until it broke in high school.But he has never left my heart or thoughts. I always felt very bad for him as he was shot down on his birthday.
I believe he has a living daughter, Shannon Sassen who was on another site.
The probable fate that Bradley G Cuthbert is so brutal, it is a constant reminder of how wasteful wars are.I never lose an opportunity to give my true feelings, which is that if it were illegal to profit from any war (or call it by any other name "police action")I think that would pretty much resolve all our supposed conflicts.Afterall, if we are really ALL ONE, then who are we fighting?
Out of my deepest respect that I will always carry in my heart for this person who came into my life on my wrist, I won't go into a cause here.I only wish that I could move as a spirit back to that moment when the man who came floating from the sky looked into the eyes of the woodcutters out that day getting energy for their community...They could have looked into the eyes and recognised a brother, and a whole new outcome is possible.
As a tribute to this moment, whenever I feel a divide from myself to another because of some media or political or religious doctrine,,,I KNOW I AM BEING MANIPULATED!The only struggle I find worth it is the struggle to be understood.Once we understand that and that we are one, Love is the only answer.

Have not been able to locate this burial ground yet - The memorials came from WPA records collected during the 1930's - This burial info came from Bible info. Slight delta on those records. Note in WPA records matches death cert (1924 #278) about being killed. 7 miles from Erwin on TN/NC would seem to indicate Green Mtn area vs Spivey or Sams Gap - it is still on my list to search for. Am not going to respond to photo request yet - I have a copy of death cert - if you don't and want it, let me know. If I post it, the photo request will CX - Thanks, Gordon

Thanks very much for your correction on Moses. All six of those names in this cemetery was taken from the Book of Unicoi County, Tennessee Cemetery Listings by Zoie Lynne Bowen on page 105, this could very well be a different Moses, that was born 16Feb1869 and died 07Nov1926. I will search a little further, Thanks again, Barb

Thank you for checking the cemetery to be sure the child's grave was not there. I had photographed it in Lake Cemetery, but noticed on Find A Grave it was reported as being in another cemetery. I believe that probably happened because someone created the page through an obituary stating he would be buried there and not because they had seen a physical grave at that cemetery. I will check and be sure the Memorial Page reflects the proper cemetery. Again, thank you for verifying.

Stephanie, I saw that you were a family friend of Jerry L. Slagle # 75806866. I have just made memorials for his parents. Would you like to manage them ? I am not related or have any connection to the family.

Thank you for your suggestion, I made the corrections and hopefully she is actually buried in the same cemetery.
I believe there are over 25 Union cemeteries in Georgia if not more

Sorry Stephanie, I meant maybe she was buried in the same cemetery as her father

Thank you for your efforts to find Evelyn,s Headstone.
The only information I had available regarding her internment was the obituary I posted on Evelyn's memorial.
Maybe she is actually in the same cemetery as her husband Henry Leonard Pitts Sr. Find A Grave # 26926008

|Never Forgotten||Elkins cem.|
I sent regrets out for photos all over the
Cem. .. Another fellow Find A Grave person hit almost all the request saying they were on private property.. so. II went out and took them all myself. David Sawdy apparently like no one and base idea to bombard all my request. memorials,,, extra. so I photographed the entire cemetery in his honor.
