I do not have a plot layout for Pleasant View as of now. I'm trading emails with Trudy, the Summerfield Twp clerk, while I'm working on all of this because I am also providing missing information for her records as I go along. I wanted a project where I thought I could really help, and I think I have found it. I have lots of relatives buried at Pleasant View, so that makes it more interesting and important to me too.
At this point I can tell you Clayton is buried in the old cemetery (O.C.) portion but I don't know the numbering layout yet. I have asked her about getting one to add to Find A Grave. She's very helpful, but has been very busy lately with other Twp Clerk duties. Many of the 1000 or so people I am trying to enter into Find A Grave for Pleasant View don't appear to have headstones. I do not know if Clayton does or not. When I get more layout info, I will let you know.

No, I am not related to Clayton. I am more than happy to remove my duplicate page since he was such a good friend of yours. I have sent you edit requests so all the info I had on my page for him will be added to yours. I have since deleted my page.
It sounds like you have very nice memories of your time with Clayton and Peggy.
Again, thank you for all the help with edits, photos, and information over the last couple of years. You are truly helping to preserve history.

Hi There! thought you might know the answer to my dilemma. Am researching several people buried in Woodmere Cemetery and would like to manage them. The manager of the site for Seneca Allen, for example, is listed as inactive. Since you added info on the Mill having records,I thought you might know what FindaGrave does re: transfers with an inactive manager. Do you? Would love to move forward with my research, as I have lots to add to the bio sections for not only Seneca Allen, but his wife, Fanny Lucinda Brigham Allen, their daughter, Wealthy Clarinda Allen and her husband Joseph Pierce.
Am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!!!! Caorlyn Hale Pierce

|Susan Williams||RE: Charles Bonnett|
My name is Susan Williams.I had originally did the Bonnette memorial for Beulah. I deleted my memorial when I saw Susan HOVERMALE had added one with family photos. Nancy has a memorial for Charles but burial unknown. My memorial was added first, but, I am letting Ms Hovermale have credit for the memorial since she does have photos added. I am sure Nancy would too.

|Lisa Garrett||Pletchers in Bougainvillea Cemetery|
You have two entries for Pletchers in Bougainvillea Cemetery. I think they are actually for the same individual. His wife died last year and I think that you will now find a permanent marker with the correct information. The entries are for Oden Pletcher Memorial# 34358212 and for David Pletcher Memorial# 34358306. The individual should be Oden David Pletcher (4Jul1911 - 03Jul1991). He was born in Pennsylvania and died in Miami-Dade County. I created the entry for his wife and linked hers to the Oden Pletcher entry. I read that you were having problems with the edits tab, so here is the information to link him to his parents: father Irwin R. Pletcher Memorial# 53739823 and Grace Horner Pletcher Memorial# 27460565. The David Pletcher entry can be deleted. I'm not sure why the temporary markers were duplicated and with the incorrect dates, but everything should be fixed on the permanent marker. Thank you for creating these entries and taking the time to do photos.

How on earth did you come to the conclusion that Hannah needed to be deleted? I did not mention a Hannah in my message...........

Please disregard the message I sent earlier. I am suggesting that Rocky aka Rickey Brockman was Frederika Sophia Johanne Grushow who was nicknamed Rickey or Rocky and that for some reason her date of birth was transposed from 1853 to 1835 when the death certificate was prepared. - The father of Frederika Sophia Johanne Gruschow historically is shown as 'Johann Levin David Grüschow' (1812–1898). She was reportedly born 23 or 25 Feb 1853 and died 25 Sep 1918 in Michigan. In the obituary for Johann Brockman, his spouse was noted as 'Rocky Brockman' for whom there is a find a grave page with a death certificate reading that she was born 1835 in Germany, father 'Levana Grascha' and spouse was John Brockman... It is not likely that Johann’s wife was born 29 years before he (1854) nor that ‘Rocky/Rickey’ was married as late as 26 Nov 1875 and the mother of children born between 1876 and 1889. - I am suggesting that Rocky aka Rickey Brockman was Frederika Sophia Johanne Grushow who was nicknamed Rickey or Rocky and that for some reason her date of birth was transposed from 1853 to 1835 when the death certificate was prepared.

|Mary Eleanor||possible duplicate records|
It is my belief that Frederika Sophie Johanne Gruschow and Rocky Gruschow Brockman are the same person, both buried in Maple Grove Cemetery, Dundee, MI.
There is a death certificate for Rocky and a grave marker for Frederika. Both were born in Germany in 1853 and both died Sep. 25, 1918.

Hi Grace.......my name is June Giddens Durham, and I just wanted to thank you for the grave photos of my father's grave site, and the veteran pic quote. I don't know much about this site and I would like to add a pic of my father to it. I added a flag and flowers to it. Thanks so much for your work doing this.

|Brent Sweeny||RE: Isabella Sweeny|
Grace, thanks for your prompt reply and for posting the Isabella Sweeny information. I hope it'll be useful to many others, as I find findagrave to be over and over for me in finding and connecting these family members!
If you'd like to transfer Isabella to me (as well as her parents, Samuel #33985932 and Janette #33985895, unless you have a strong interest in keeping them) I'll try to do as good a job as you have in maintaining them. Samuel is my 3rd great-grandfather, through his son Samuel.

Looks like the death date was misread on tombstone. George was born in 1851 and died 26 Sep 1877, making the year, mo, d correct. This she got from Portraits and Biographical Record from Kankakee.

Sorry If I slipped but yes Blessing was her 2nd Spouse.
Are you a Stough family descendant?
I appreciate your thanks - while I'm a Stough family Descendant This is not my direct line. There are about 8 Stauch-Stough Lines that originate in Munklingen, Germany from the same Family and 2 unrelated from a different part of Germany.

Thanks for the transfer of Lena's memorial. FYI: Her real name was Wilhelmina and her funeral was conducted out West Ida Immanuel. She wasn't buried there because she wasn't a member of that church, never joined. Her children were either baptisted or confirmed there though. I was quite surprized to find this out after many years of looking for my husband's family and here they were right under my nose at my own church. LOL Anyway thanks again for making the memorial and the transfer. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.

I noticed that you didnt have a death date listed on his memorial page and I found his date of death. According to the VA Payment Cards (found on familysearch.org) he died 4 Sep 1912. No place was listed and his wife, Louisa, continued to receive his pension.

Yes, sure thing. Please give him the church's email address so I can talk to him direct and might be able to give him more information on this family too if he wants it. I have done their genealogy and my friend is their descendant, I have a lot on them. It is firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks Joy
