You just asked for a photo for Clarence Cox' wife. What is her name? I took the photo for someone (maybe you) of Clarence and usually always take anyone else buried in the same plot. Let me know her name as there are several Cox's buried in Rose Hill. Thanks.

Yes it would help if obits and death certificates gave the correct information, but unfortunately, that is not always the case. Errors are made sometimes. We are only human. Maybe I will get a letter off to the Tyler paper and tell them what the correct name is for that cemetery. haha!

That cemetery has confused alot of people over the years. Some surrounding newspapers mis-name it which adds to the confusion. I have seen obits in the Longview News that can't get it right and they live here! haha For the sake of anybody looking for relatives in Longview, let me re-iterate what I told you and hopefully if they land on your page, they will see this and can find the correct cemetery (I will post this on my profile page also):
There is NO SUCH CEMETERY named "Longview Memorial Park". It is Memory Park! Memory Park is in Longview. Longview is in BOTH Gregg and Harrison counties, but Memory Park is in the Harrison county portion of Longview. If on a death certificate or in an obit, it states a person died in Longview or Gregg county and was buried in Memory Park, one naturally assumes Memory Park is in Gregg county. Not finding it in Gregg county, one was created (and mis-named), which is wrong. They should look for Memory Park in HARRISON county (still in Longview).
I can just imagine what confusion there is in Texarkana! haha
