Thank you for Gertrude's maiden name. The records I have aren't perfect, but they are all I have to go by until someone who knows helps out.

RE: F.P. Smith
Forest Grove is the primary cemetery for Telephone, Fannin Co., TX. What is now named the Telephone Cemetery is comprised of two small cemeteries about 100 yards apart which used to be behind some local churches both now gone. There are a total 14 or 15 known burials still at "Telephone Cemetery". Most folks noted as "buried at Telelphone" are buried at Forest Grove. Some burials have been moved from the original cemetery and re-interred at Forest Grove as well.

Achsa Johnson
Thank you so much for photographing Achsa and George Johnson's headstone for me. I recently have been looking at my mothers photo album and saw my grandparent information. I have signed up to be a volunteer for find a grave, but I will wait until the snow melts in Pittsburgh. I have gotten 68 requests in 10 days. Is this normal? Thank you. Raymond D. Adams
Hello Kay,
Would you happen to know where Raymond Adams' grandparents, James O. Adams and Nettie (Reed) Adams, are buried and when they died? Raymond is a second cousin once removed of mine. His grandmother Nettie is a Grand Aunt to me. Her father, John Franklin Reed, is my maternal Great Great Grandfather.
Thank You!

Neal,

THANK YOU VEY MUCH for going out in the snow to take the photo. I figured it would be spring or after before anyone would do it. I take photo's myself and only fill requests if it is close where I live or happen to be in the cemetery. Your time is greatly appreciated. God Bless you and thank you again for going out now and taking the photo. Great job.

Elizabeth Sanderson headstone
Just accepted this assignment. 10" of snow on ground and below zero to single digit temps. Will photograph this headstone when conditions permit. Most stones in this portion of Roselawn Cemetery are horizontal and close to ground.

Lafayette Fayette Manchester Question
Hi Neal,
I seen the marriage record with the Fayette ad the index for the cemetery you mentioned. I found the obit on Ancestry.Com that was derived from the story written by By Harriett Taylor Upton
The name Lafayette is included in the book. It may be wrong but I have not been able to determine the correct spelling. Thank you for making me take a second look.

HISTORY OF THE WESTERN RESERVE,
Healey M. Manchester was born in Perry, Ohio, July 11, 1840, and was reared by his maternal grandfather, Benjamin Crofoot, who with the brothers Gideon and Dudley Crofoot, migrated from Cayuga county, New York, in the month of May, 1819. Benjamin settled on the South Ridge in Perry, selecting a beautiful tract about three miles east of Painesville, erecting, a log house near the present site of the Methodist church, in which he lived with his family for many years. The three children of the family were Malcolm, Caroline and Phebe Jane, the last named becoming the mother of Healey M. Manchester by her marriage to LaFayette Manchester in about 1838. La Fayette Manchester was born in Cayuga county, New York, in 1814. He worked for the Geauga Iron Company after coming to this state in 1832. Phebe Jane Manchester, his wife, was born in Cayuga county, New York, in 1818.
