Hi Melanie, I added those items on John Sloane. Have you been researching that side? I would love to visit with you if you know more. I added John Sloane as he is in the same cemetery as my granparents. The name is spelled the same which is the old British spelling. FEW people spell it like we do. I looked in the Maxie cemetery and saw that there were some Andrus' who married Sloanes and came from St Landry Parish. My branch came from St Landry and in the up line there are some Andrus'. Curious what all you have..........
Also if John Sloane is in your branch I will be happy to transfer him to you along with every one else on the marker...........

|T Gilmore||RE: Oscar Fuller, Sr|
Please forgive my delay in getting back with you.
Your guess is as good as mine about Oscar's middle name. I suppose they could be one in the same person.
The Gilmores are my dad's side of the family. Zoe Dora was my grand aunt.
Thank you for your help!

|T Gilmore||Oscar Fuller, Sr|
I have been researching my father's side of the family--Gilmore. My great-aunt Dora Gilmore was married to an Oscar Fuller. The WWII registration card I found lists him as Oscar SYLVESTER Fuller.
I noticed that many of the names in the obitary for Oscar SAMUEL Fuller match those in my research.
Is it possible that these two individuals are one in the same? If so, do you how the confusionin concerning the middle name may have come about?

My name is Leeanne. I am the grand daughter of Linda Lorene Pagliaro. Seeing that you are the one who posted on here about her. There are a couple of things missing from the obituary but really that isn't why I'm contacting you.
I want to know our history. I want to know that side of my family. I AM in touch with my father but not enough to know the details you might be able to provide. Would you be interested in keeping in contact with me? If so please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
I look forward to hearing from you

I had to look this up. Her first husband was Ranuiel Fisher. I don't know where he was buried but she spent most of her childhood years at the Acadia Baptist Academy or Acadian Baptist Center and all her life playing piana at the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, so he might be there too.
