Doutt Memorial 92532780
Hello,

Thanks for sending along more info. Would you like me to transfer the memorial to you? I'm not related to anyone in East Brady Cemetery but just had the records and uploaded some.

Thanks,
Zach

Mary Love #100488578
I enjoy reading old newspapers on the Library of Congress website. I found a tiny article about the tragic death of two sisters, Myra and Mary Love (both around 75 years of age) who were struck by a train as they walked the railroad tracks near their home. I thought you might like to see the story. I am guessing that Mary's sister went by the name Myra. How their family must have grieved.

Updates
Thank you for the updates on the Zeller's. Always appreciate information others can provide to me. You are the second person recently who has done this for me. The other was able to find some actual pictures of some of my relatives from long ago.

Barbara Samans
Susan Marie Samans1910-1914
I had visited the grave of Susan when my grandmother died in 1960 or so. WE went there to see Susan's grave after we buried her mother who was my grandmother. her grave was on a hill as I remember and my dad was quite when we went there. He never told me about her but my mom said he always thought he had brought something home form school, she got it and died..all because of him. Susan diedof scarlet fever though..not his fault but...I did a lot of poking and prodding and finally came up with the info on the Wiants. Here is what I had written on her find a grave site:

Thanks for info. Have most I think. Wyatt was a rev and neighbor of my grandfather 'a up in Greenville. Susan was my father's young sister.....who died of scarlett fever I think it was. So sad. Dad never got over her death. My grandmother was pg with my uncle who was born in 1914 and never knew his sister. Rev Wyatt had room in his plot and let her be buried there.

I looked to see a connection between the Wiants and my family (Samans). I looked at great aunts husbands sides etc...and then I saw that I had two people in my tree named Fehr! One was named Conrad but I had an 1806 birth date for him...but then there was the grave stone picture and when I did the math I saw the date was actually b 1785 not 1806. Anyway Conrad's sister (One of many siblings the had) was named Eve Catherine Fehr and she married into the Wiant (Wyant) family when she married George Peter Wiant (Wyant). So although it is a distant relationship to the Wiant family and I really wonder if at the time they new of it back then at least it's a connection :)

Thanks to ancestry.com's relationship connector I now know that Eve Catherine Fehr was 3-4 years of age and she died and was buried at the Shenango Valley Cemetery in Greenville Pa, Her brother, Carl Hubert Samans named his daughter Susan, b 1937-d 1972 after her. Susan is buried in the Wiant Family plot at the cemetery. The Wiants are distant relatives of the family of Susan's mother Katehrine Lum Samans.

Thanks again :)

Barb

Wrong photo
Hi Shirley,
Your headstone photo on the memorial for
Robert D Hunter
is for a different person, William D. Hunter,
a Vietnam Veteran who doesn't have a Find-a-Grave memorial yet.

Could you please create a memorial for William and move your excellent headstone photo to it?

Cheers, Rich ^_^

Hi Shirley,

Thanks again so very much. The original entry for this one is set up for an unknown cemetery in a virtual cemetery. Some of the children are being linked to the unknown cemetery. I called the cemetery today and verified the burials. They are to send some pictures next week. In the meantime I will email the person with the original entry. Enjoy your day! Florence

Mildred E Foust--19144080
Shirley:
So sorry to hear about your legs, do home the swelling has abated and that you are on the mend. I do have a question about the Foust family, Mildred was the wife of Sherman (he was born 1905); no SS, no death has been found, phones are still listed in his name...do you have any clues about his demise? Can you do any checking in the area without stressing you health? Thanks for all your input.
Dianna
