Thank you
Thank you for leaving a flower token on my grandfather's memorial page. His name is George Abel, but went by Tommy much more odten. He was a good man, I just wish he got to meet his other 3 grandsons. He would be so proud of them today.

RE: Goodmorning!
Hello Sweet Donna, It's so good to hear from you, and yes it's been a busy summer here too. I'm ready for the days to get shorter and cooler! We work ourselves silly in the summer time. Had some bad weather hit the ranch, trying to get contractors to come and do repair work is nearly impossible out here. We've been busy getting all our steers off summer grass and hauled to Pratt, the cattle market is really strong, we may have a little problem buying cattle back this fall, it won't be as much fun anyway! =) Got all our hay crop cut and baled in the big round bales, and getting those all hauled off the fields, now Doug's been busy planting 180 acres in rye grass, could use a good slow soakin' rain.

Have a beautiful fall, we wish you and your family only the best in life.

Love and Hugs, Always
Your Kansas friends
Pixie & Doug

RE: Gustav Dresner
Glad to help - I'm a Seabee daughter, my dad was in the 58th Seabees - I found 227 of them in Find A Grave. With the help of the book and its history, I'm looking for any others listed in the book as casualties - The Seabees were special - their job was to construct airstrips as well mess halls, living quarters, help the natives, etc. I feel they need to be recognized - it was a rough war in the South Pacific - I have all my dad's war photos - not always pretty.

Thank you for adding his war history. I appreciate that very much...

Hello Donna and greetings from Sacramento,Ca! I was going to ask a find a grave member to locate Ruth and Claude and I came across your contact information. Ruth Jackson was my Grandmothers sister. My Grandmother was Ollie Bell Webster, married name Maple and she was married to Arthur William Maple my Grandfather. I just added them to Find a Grave and a photo of their monument was just added. It is in Santa Clara, Ca. I know Robin as well of course and Doris my cousins. Wow what a small world. Just wanted to say Hi and make the connection! God Bless, Mark in Sac

RE: Hi friend:)
Hello Sweet Donna, Thank for the sweet compliment, that picture was taken 20 years ago...we don't look so good anymore! =))))

We are so sorry to hear Bo is having health problems, please know he will be in our thoughts and prayers that he will be fine, please keep in touch on how he is doing from time to time. I had some blood work done last week...I'll be on Cholesterol medicine soon, plus I have Thyroid problems too, the "Golden Years" are not so golden!!! :(((

We are under a thunderstorm warning and tornado watch too, Doug and I have been porch sittin' this afternoon, lots of thunder and lighting around, pretty as long as it stays at a distance, y'all stay safe!

Please Take Care, it always so good to hear from you, Sweet Oklahoma Friend.
Sending Love and Hugs from Kansas

James Copeland - Find A Grave Memorial# 97071154

Thank you for posting James Copeland - Find A Grave Memorial# 97071154.

I am wondering if he possibly is also the father of Richard Copeland who was born ca 1825 Tennessee. Richard Copeland married, I believe, Martha / Mattie West.

Richard and Martha / Mattie (West) Copeland seemed to live primarily in Hardin County, TN.

I have not, as yet, been able to find the birth date nor death date/location for Richard or his wife, Mattie / Martha, but I suspect they likely died in Hardin Co, TN.

Thank you,
Brenda Hare

RE: Welcome Back:)
Thank You Sweet Donna...sometimes it's so necessary for a little time away.

Started snowing here right before daylight, snow isn't bad if you don't have to get out in it, and feed livestock....then it makes for a miserable day for our cattle and us, suppose to get around six inches.

Hope things are good at your place
Love and Hugs, Always

Thank you for stopping by my wife's memorial page. The lighthouse was very appropriate since that was one of her passions. In our RV travels it is amazing how many lighthouses she had me search out for us to see and climb if possible.
