You are most welcome. Thank you for adding the other photo. I usually add the requested photos first, then go back & add the others later, but as I took about 1300 photos there over the past 3 weeks, it may have been a while to get to his sister.

|Janet K||Greiner update...|
One last thing...
William and Elizabeth Greiner's son Frank D Greiner married Alvina (Severin) in 1899.
Alvina's brother Emil Severin married my Great Aunt Jenet (Scottish spelling) McNicol....who I am named after. Frank, Alvina, Jenet and Emil are buried in the same plot. That's what started me on the Greiner search to begin with.
It's a small world, isn't it?

|Janet K||Greiner updates:|
Well, I've learned a few things.
*William and Elizabeth's oldest child, Lillie Leona (AKA Lillie, AKA Lillian) married George H G'a'ffield. (They are the Mr. and Mrs. G'o'ffield of Smith Creek, MI mentioned in the news article.)
*Lillie and George had 2 children:
1) Clemdon "Claude" Gaffield b:8/19/1879 ~ d:12/11/1889 (Find A Grave Memorial# 43013631)
2) Ora M (Gaffield) Lindsay (Find A Grave Memorial# 52070442)
She married George Lindsay 12/31/1902 (They are the Mr. and Mrs. Linds'a'y from Smith Creek, MI mentioned in the news article)
*William & Elizabeth's 5th child, Ettie Alberta married Elba Hubble.
"Alberta", as she was called, died in Saginaw, MI and is buried there with her husband Elba.
Their son, Julian died in 1972 in Florida.(Find A Grave Memorial# 140924359)
*William & Elizabeth's 8th child - Lee Oscar's son Robert Jay Greiner died in 1995 in Somers Point, NJ (Find A Grave Memorial# 93816761)
*Their daughter Phyllis Lee's married surname is Bonner.
I don't know who the Greiners from either Canada or Muskegon, MI are.
Best wishes in your continued search!

WOW! I'm SO Glad you asked...
You sent me the maiden name of Elizabeth Buchanan and her birth date and place. There were 2 edits that I accepted. Once I knew her maiden name, your contact information was lost to me, but one thing led to another.....
I wanted to give you a special THANK YOU! Your information gave me the lead I needed to discover 4 of their children's names, burial places etc...
While entering Nora Irene Witt's burial info in Forest Lawn Cemetery, I discovered that No One had entered ANYONE by the last name of Witt in the cemetery. There are 9 or more people that I will add to the cemetery later tonight.
You asked where I found William Greiner's birthdate...I started my search in the Saginaw County Library Obit Index. It is accessible to anyone. http://obits.netsource-one.net/
Here is the copy of William's.

|Bruce Speck||RE: Marlin Luther Ney #66765941|
The Social Security Death Index lists his DOB as April 17, 1924. That appears to conflict with the SS application which lists it as April 27. I don't know what the correct DOB is, so I listed the information contained in the most recent document which was completed at the time of his death in 2001. Let me know if you confirm which date is correct and I'll edit his memorial.

|Family Tree Climber||RE: James Keeley Foose|
Are you referring to memorial #99865541? If so, this is not the same James K Foose as you refer to on the draft registration, as that one was born in 1891 and is buried in Bloomfield - see memorial 85710141 which does have the 10/10/1891 date of birth. Let me know if you have questions. Thanks.

|Family Tree Climber||RE: Paul Lloyd Showvaker|
Showaker is the spelling in the obituary -- I'll email you a copy of the actual obit. Thanks for catching my typo - "Paul" should be "Paula" and I've corrected it. Bonnie is listed as a Showaker. Apparently Paul used the Showaker spelling as his SS record uses that spelling as well. I also searched and made the link to his parents who used the Showaker spelling confirmed by gravestone photo. If I can be of any other help, just let me know.

Sorry that it has taken me so long to reply, but I was looking up the information that you had requested. Yes, I do have a record of the marriage between Hugh and Helen, whom she then divorced, married someone else and then apparently divorced too. I don't know where she is buried, but my father-in-law thinks it likely that she is buried in the Beck family plot in Aurora, NY. Helen studied pre-med at Cornell and then got her medical degree at the Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania. According to a news article that I have, Helen died the day before she was to have a luncheon honoring her with the Tunkhannock Business & Professional Women's Organization "woman of the Year" in 1986.
Sincerely, Karen Beck

Hi James, thanks for pointing that out! I made the correction. Also I have corrected some of the children who died in infancy. I also put a correction to their son WEL Jr. (who I do not maintain) to link him to the family and add a shot bio. Best!

I made the corrections that you suggested. I do not take corrections as criticism. I strive to make my entries as accurate as possible, realizing that I will sometimes make a mistake. I encorage you to continue to suggest corrections, add bios, etc. on the memorials that I create. To me Find-A-Grave is a collaborative effort.

I added more links to Ella Nutt (her parents) Charles Nutt and Elizabeth Reed Nutt. I requested a link for Charles Nutt's parents Henry B. Nutt and Ann Nancy Hughes Nutt and once that is done, you can see Henry's parents.

I read your message on Florence. I'm wondering what the Mason bit is? Is it a middle name, as I see her as Florence M. Eastlack.

|greatgrands||Re: Solomon Mason birthdate|
Hi, I sent a correction but what I wanted was to send you a message and let you decide. I had his birthdate as Nov 9th, Ancestry was suggesting the 18th, so I used a tombstone calculator and the info on his headstone, here:
I don't know for certain which is correct.

I go back to Wm Green thru his son Richard - You are much closer relative - the notes on the bio said this would be transferred to a relative - I guess now its from the original owner...I would remove that info - you certainly should keep this one! Donna
