RE: Jess Wooten
PS, There are photos, tons of records & I have stories, but need to get them posted, on ancestry. My member name there is Nillarita & our family tree is The Herd. The Wright family are done on our tree as far as the records are available. The only way to get further information on them would be to go to England cemeteries & hope for readable headstones. All of the church records that still exist had been scanned online & there are copies &/or pics of them attached to the people on our tree. The others, such as Long, Barker etc all have good starts but are maybe 3/4 done. I took a break after running the Wrights back to the mid 1600's the clergy's writing becomes difficult to read at that stage. There are unsubstantiated claims for Jess F Wooten's parents. Many are adopting that information. But until it can be proven (even by elimination of the other possibilities) I will not publish. Please take note of notes, there are some (possible people) there for research purposes.

RE: Jess Wooten
Who do you belong to? I should know honestly, Aunt Connie has mentioned you but I forget. I believe Honey & Sharon probably knew that information years ago when I discovered it with the help of the Gulley side of our family. I am pretty sure one of them, possibly Sharon, was doing an ancestry account at the time. I am thinking you are in that area. If you are in contact w/them or others in the family there will you ask if anyone knows how/why Page SR came to that area. I have tracked my other family groups that traveled to the Midwest together but most of them had a reason for going. Many of them traveled in multi-family groups who married into each other later & settled in the same areas after arriving. They all had a reason for coming to Iowa = Either other family, land grants (sometimes secured by a family member going ahead of them etc). He is the only odd one out. No one to go to or that may have been there writing to suggest he come, that sort of thing. Thank You.

Resinger grave
I just noticed that the grave of Catherine Conley Resinger is listed in two cemeteries. Can you determine which entry is correct? I notice a photo of her t/s on one entry, however, I wonder if it is attached to the correct cemetery.

Thanks for the help.

Grace Lavinia (LaBrot) Souden, was my grandmothers oldest sister. Their mother's middle name was Melvina as far as Ive known it was Lavinia, unless it was like her mothers, being the oldest and first born daughter. So who did the head stone was wrong or I am. Thank You Rhonda
