Erbs of Cheyenne
Hi Lynn I found a bunch of Erbs and added the ones I could find onto the Find A Grave Sight you might try going to Wyoming Tribune Eagle of Cheyenne and type in Erb under Obituary search with open dates I found three or four. Happy searching

Edith L. Bioletti
Olof Soderburg
Hi again:

Thank you very much for adding the Bio for Olof. I see no need for you to transfer the Memorial to me. If I get a picture of Olof I know I can add it by myself, or I may interest my cousin in doing that.

You may want to consider linking Olof to his brother Karl (#122281346) I linked Karl to Olof, but I cannot do the reverse as I cannot edit Olof's.

Thanks again. Have fun this summer in the cemeteries!

Cindy Ferguson
Samuel Bollinger
I wrote to you about this before you sent me an email and said "hi Cindy, Would you please link Samuel Bollinger Find A Grave#88016090 to his parents: Jacob Bollinger Find A Grave#90206681 and Anna Maria Hershey Find A Grave#103085265. Thanks, Lynn Erb" This is not My Samuel Bollinger who was married to Nancy. This Samuel Bollinger does not have the parents Jacob and Anna. If you look at his wifes names it lists Nancy and that is wrong. Now look at the other wife who is Eve and see notes. That is the real wife of this Samuel Bollinger not Nancy and I wrote to you before asking you to how to remove Nancy from this. Cindy

Edith L. Bioletti
Mem. #109846965 O. Soderburg
Hi, Lynn:
I am Edith Bioletti, granddaughter of the late Karl Soderburg. He was Olof Soderburg's youngest brother. If you search for Mem. # 26426943 you will find info on Olof. I posted it to a Vancouver cemetery when I found him listed there under findagrave. This weekend I learned that he never came to Canada, but would have died in Idaho, where I know he did live.

I see that my birth date is out by one year. I was given the earlier year when I went to Sweden and gathered information, but Olof must have used 1866. The date of death I gathered from the Vancouver findagrave site, so that is incorrect.

I would like you to take the information I provided on the Vancouver cemetery to place on the Idaho cemetery, then I will remove the Vancouver information, as I now believe that is not my relative.

Thank you.
Edith (email is

Daniel Horner Photo Request
In a preliminary search of Vermont Cemetery, I didn't turn up anything on Daniel Horner. Do you have any additional information to go on? I'm willing to go back and poke around some more if there is anything else to work from that might help narrow the scope.

Hi thanks for the note did you get the obit so you can contact her daughters not sure what happened but he was never listed on obit so not sure alive or dead or what happened. I did find him and her in Rawlins WY on the 1940 census with the three kids. The boy and two girls and on the obit the boy had a different last name so maybe he died? It was before WWII and I found a C Ray Erb that got killed in an explosion in 1959 in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. So kind of a family mystery for you. Will be posting other Erbs this week.

Clifford and Alice Erb
Hi I tried finding the graves for Clifford and Alice at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens. I found James and Marion Erb and an infant Mae Erb I am going to post pictures of these. I checked with the funeral home that runs the garden and they have no record. I checked online at the other local cemeteries and did not find them there either do you have any other information or an obit that might help me find these for you? Thanks.

Cliffor and Alice Erb
Hi I requested the sights for these two but there is no record on file with owner of graveyard. They did find a James, Marion and a child Mae. Could they be them or could they be buried in another cemetery here in Cheyenne?

RE: George & Catherine Humbert
Hi, Lynn,

I put new photos with translations on the memorials for Catharina Humbert (1764-1823) (15422040) and Jacob Humberd (1790-1823) (40772617). Jacob's is the stone which was overlapped by Catharina's. I think that he was probably Catharina's son: the dates fit very well; the stones are virtually identical, except for slight misspellings on Jacob's; and even the verse is the same.

Nothing for George there; sorry.

Dave and Terri

RE: George & Catherine Humbert
Hi, Lynn,

I'll be happy to translate Catherine's stone and look at what's next to her when it gets a hair warmer here. Don't get your hopes too high for George, though: the Genealogical Society listing shows Magdalena Erb on one side of Catherine, and Jacob Humberd (1790-1823) on the other side (the one that is partially hidden by Catherine). Still, there's no translation included on the memorials, so it's worth a visit.
