RE: John George Lutz in Ann Arbor
Anna (Lutz) Boes is the 6th sister #26120356. I just posted the photos on each of their profiles which are linked as John George Lutz's children. Would it be possible for you to retrieve them from their find-a-grave profiles? like you did with John Lutz, their father . . . If not, I can email them . . . What an Improvement ! THANK YOU - Hope you enjoy their Portraits.

Jane Marie Scott
Hello,

You added a picture of Jane's grave to her memorial on Find A Grave. Do you have the name of the cemetery or plot? I would like to get her memorial updated so it doesn't read unknown.

Thank You

Many thanks for the two Vose photos! You are beating me here in Wisconsin - snow is melting faster in your area. I cannot wait to get out to take some photos.

Ha Ha, your right about the name thing going on.
To bad they didn't know what a problem they were creating for us. And I bet your right about the middle name. That middle name has eluded me so far.

I will try to find you and get an invite to you on Ancestry.com.

My sir names are Willoughby, Rogers, Smith , Henson

I am rosaleewrainbolt on Ancestry.com

Will check and see if I can find you.

RE: Fountain Rogers
Hi Carol,

Which James was your grandfather. Fountain had two brothers named James, the one older than Fountain was James M.and the one younger than Fountain was was James W. I presume that your ancestor was James W Rogers.

James M. was in the Civil war and I was told by
Sarah Ragsdale, now deceased, that the older James
was wounded and never returned from the war. That he was never seen by the family again. I have yet to prove this fact but can't find his grave, but think I have a lead, would like to compare with
other Rogers kin.

Fountain's Son David Valentine Rogers was my great
grand father. David Valentine's son David Drew
was my grand father. And David Drew's daughter was
Celma Ann Rogers , my mother. She was born in
Oklahoma they then moved to Texas but then finally
moved back to Ash Flat Arkansas where there were still lots of Rogers cousins. We do visit Ash Flat
once a year and I get more pictures and try to help with the ancestors tombstones.

Are you on Ancestry.com? I would exchange
invitations with you.

RE: Fountain Rogers
Thank you Carol, we visited great, great grandfathers tombstone this summer and cleaned it up a little and cut some brush away from it. It was
about to be covered up. It was very hot that day
so that is all we got done. We worked on 3 other Rogers tombstones. There are a lot of Rogers out there. Do you happen to be kin to them also?

Jessica Masten
RE: Abraham Masten
Hi Carol,

No I never got a response from John. But from the information I've found, Abraham OR Abram Masten was my 4th great grandfather. He was born in Ulster County, New York. Although unsure of his exact date of birth, I think it was in the 1790s. I know he went on to marry Esther Brown in 1820 and lived in Dundee, Michigan. He had the following children:

Seler Tuthill Masten 1816 1901 (my 3rd great grandfather)
Darius Masten 1822 1919
Robert Masten 1825 1893
Jacob Masten 1828 1905
Eliza A. Masten 1837
Melissa Masten 1838
Abraham C. Masten 1840 1915

here is a link to his profile within my tree on Ancestry.com: http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/40180904/person/19464782424
