And thank you.
A while ago you had more time to do what I am doing now and added many cemeteries in and around Cameron County. Right now I have the time and try to keep the work going. I also try to add the coordiantes anytime I can, and get the maps. I went to Lyford to see what the situation was there when Candis Laningham had a question about a burial there. Candis works from Newspaper obituaries. We try to help each other also.
Keep having a good day.

I think you own the Evergreen Cemetery in Lyford.
Please add the coordinates so we will have a map.
I also just added the Guadalupe Cemetery north of Evergreen and a few burials there.
There are a lot more but it is a dense cemetery and I am really restricted on how much I can walk.
You have the Guadalupe Cemetery in Sebastian.
Thanks for the work you have done on Find A Grave in this area.

I'm also doing a family tree and found out that 2 of my husbands ancestors are buried at El Toro.
I would really love to get them transfered to me, so I can manage them and add photos and biographies and get them linked to other family in different cemeteries.

My husband and I would greatly appreciate it. These are his Great Grandparents.
Thank you so much for doing all this wonderful project.

I know it's not common practice to transfer memorials to non-relatives, but my sister in-law is working with me on this site to add memorials and information to the Callandret family in San Benito, Texas and their native Louisiana. She is his great-grandchild.
If possible, we'd like to manage this memorial, so that it can be linked to relatives accordingly.

I photographed the headstone and the inscription is hard to read, but the years are 1870-1939.

I want to thank you for the headstone photo you posted. It is wonderful, I was wondering if you can tell me in what part of the cemetery he is located in? I still want to go see him myself. Thanks again... Doug

I know my grandmother ( Cleo Elvie Lyles (Brown)) is buired in one of the Harlingen Cemetery's but I cannot find her. She was born March 1,1909 and died in early 1929. There may not be a headstone. I hope you can help me.

I just discovered we do not have a map here, and checked all the memorials to see whose was oldest. You won with Sept 29 2005.
Please add the coordinates
Added by George Falk on May 10, 2011 9:13 PM
Thanks so much for adding those coordinates.
The maps look good and will help people find the cemeteries. I will check with Art and be sure he has all the people posted for these 4, for La Tina just west of there, and for Anaquitas.
People like Art and I that are retired need to be patient with younger folks that have other things besides Find A Grave going on.

I have removed the 2 double entries. Thanks for finding them. I add an entire cemetery in an Excel file and do go through it to remove any that are already posted, but apparently missed these. Find A Grave now have a new program that checks for duplicates, so it wil be less likely t omiss them in future. Thanks for entering those coordinates. George

I think that the oldest memorial in Gomez Cemetery is your Herlinda Torre, so probably you own the cemetery posting. If you do would you please add the coordinates
We have now added all the burials in Gomez.

|Sean O||Adam Appel's genealogy work|
Hi Angelica - I've been following Adam Appel's genealogy work both here and elsewhere on the web - his lineage intersects my own at John Henry Appel (Find A Grave Memorial# 12932183). I see your name on some of the memorials he created (perhaps you are related to these people or know of Adam;s genealogy work?). I am related through John Henry Appel's son Jacob, who is my father's maternal grandfather (my great-grandfather). Unfortunately, it seems I've come on the scene a bit late to connect with Adam Appel - any contact information I can find for him is no long working. Do you know about Adam? Do you know if anyone has kept his genealogy work?

YW Angie..I know you miss him. Your daddy was a good man. He had a beautiful soul; He was full of laughter and smiles. I enjoyed every long conversation that we ever had together. I sure did miss his visits to the house. I'd make him breakfast and he would eat at the breakfast table with Martin. I regret not have taken pictures :( Tio is always on my mind almost everyday; I carry the picture memory card you gave us in my car clipped to my sunvisor. Tio Beto is now an angel of God, so I feel safe and protected by having his picture there. :)
