John Robert Cheek DOB
John Robert Cheek was my maternal grandfather. The correct year that Bob was born was 1873. The flowers block that; however, all records that I have obtained, as well as info from my mother have the year as 1873.

Thanks for your dedication is provided these records!

Morning Shirley,
I don't remember the name, did a global search and found 6, I have never been in those locations listed so I am in the dark.
Feel free to use the "edit" to correct whatever error U found cause I don't know how to handle it.
Later, James Coston

Oh my, I wonder how many times I did that? We have people with both spellings in our tree. Different branches though. Thanks for all your help.

I think I mispelled it earlier this morning when I was looking it up too. Sigh....

Thanks for the permission, and I'm always happy to let others know who really deserves the thanks. :-)

RE: Flossie Houx Branscom
At first I thought maybe I had made a mistake. So I looked her up in your records under her first name - her memorial is 73943329. I apologize for not listing her memorial along with my request. That's unusual for me since I normally put both in the subject line (or I can't get back to the memorial - smile). Have a happy day. S

Hello, we were wondering if you would allow us to use your picture in our family tree? We know it's not a headstone photo but it will still add a lot to her story. Please know we will gladly cite both you and Find A Grave as our source for the picture. Thank you so much for considering our request.

This is a duplicate of another posting with more info. You can search Sandy Chapel Cemetery to see the other 2. I posted a public note to the most recent one also. Please check the more complete one for correctness and consider deleting yours.

Thanks so much

RE: Sybile Burks
I know there are plenty like that, no marker. That was why I was in Kilbourne, placing a marker on a grave of my great grandfather's brother's grave. A cousin show me where the grave was, and I found an inexpensive memorial marker on Ebay at this link:
It was titled Laser Engraved 12" x 6" Granite Memorial Grave Marker and I paid $25, looked nice, went to home depot and got a cement block for $1.40, went to the grave, dug about a 1 inch form area where I place some 2x4s, mixed some bagged cement, and when it was about dry, pushed the stone down into the cement.

So you could do something like this if you wish, I would be willing to help if you are too far away, as long as you could direct me to location.

I attempted to locate this grave yesterday however was unsuccessful. If you know where within the cemetery its located, the next time I go to Kilbourne I would be happy to attempt it again.

Hi Shirley,
I sometimes type in infant and pick a random last name and click on all states. I want to thank you for creating a memorial for a Hawthorn infant and most importantly leaving a token for the child. I just don't understand why creators don't take an extra couple of minutes to leave a flower. So many of these children have nothing and are forgotten. Again thanks.

RE: Re: Christan
Hi Shirley, Me and wife visited both cemeteries yesterday and found Christan's grave in the east cemetery. Took a pic of the grave, but no headstone has been erected yet. Will check back occasionally to get a pic of the headstone. Thanks for your help. Backwoodsman
