RE: Jersey Joe Walcott
Hi, If you are talking about the Joe Walcott buried in Dalton Cemetery in Ohio, he isn't the "real" Joe "Walcott. The gentleman who is at Dalton Cemetery let the townspeople think he was the Ex-World Champion. People in Dalton paid for the burial & headstone as their "Joe Walcott".
The real Jersey Joe Walcott didn't pass until 25 Feb 1994 and is buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Pennsauken, Camden Co., NJ. This Joe Walcott is buried under his real name of Arnold Raymond Cream. Hope this helps solve the question.

Thank you so much for your efforts in taking a photo of Lyla Budnick's crypt. Did you happen to notice if her husband, Nate Budnick is resting near her? He passed away 6 months before her (on Sept 11, 2001). I don't see page here for him on Find-a-Grave but I can't imagine him not resting near her as they had been married many years.

Dear Doll:

Thanks so much for taking the photograph of my uncle's grave plaque -- Maurice J. Cosover in King David Memorial Park, Bensalem -- and uploading it to his memorial on Find A Grave. I am just so thrilled that you were able to get that for me, and I'm glad his date of death was on the plaque. Despite my having his death certificate, I could never pinpoint his exact date of death because he died alone and so they guessed at the date. Perhaps the plaque also records an estimated date, but it's one that I can go with.

Maurice's became a sad life because of alcohol, but he was always good to his mother, so that rates for a lot in my book.

Thanks again. You are a gem. That's one of the reasons I love Find A Grave: people helping each other towards a noble end. I promise to Pay It Forward.

Warm regards from Australia,
Mary Jo C. Martin

I just told my wife about you since she is from Germantown PA. Here is her page.

We live outside of Decatur, Alabama but I grew up over to the east of Tuskegee in Ft. Mitchell.

I've passed through Tuskegee and need to visit the new Museum for the Tuskegee Airman when I go to visit my parents next time.

Good luck with your research.

RE: Strickland
I now see that you did take a photo of his grave. Thank you so much. This means so much to me because I have been unable to get up north to see it in person. He passed when I was only 12 and I couldn't remember where his grave was. I am now 40, so just seeing it really gives me such peace. Thank you again so much for taking the time out to take this picture for me. God bless you, Bill

RE: Strickland
yes that is the grave. Thank you so much. I have been asking for a long time and never got any replies. He was my father and a Sgt. for the Willingboro Police Dept. in NJ. If you could please take a photo of the greave and post it I would forever be in your debt. Thank you so much for finding his grave for me. Bill Strickland

Doll,

Thank you for looking for me. I don't have any one to ask about their final resting place.

Please remember to look for them in the Jewish Cemeteries first.

Thanks,
Kevin

Not certain, I was hoping the grave marker would have dates on it. I will look into the name Walter Townsend and see if I can come up with anything.
