When you have the time I would love that. Harry was my grand uncle. I knew him when I was very young. No rush, but if you can when you have time I would hugely appreciate it! Thank you again.

I am very familiar with this place. Sadly they refuse to help me find them when I asked for location lookup because I am not family. If you can call and ask for location- I will fulfill photo request. Let me know!

|Candy||RE: HARRIS - Ross Cemetery, Opelika|
My pleasure. It did trigger my firing off letters to the city manager of cemeteries, the VFW local posts, VA, Opelika National Historic Society and a few others after taking the photo and posting this response on my facebook page about this cemetery....so neglected. I am going back on Monday to put flags out for those Veterans I found that could be read still.
spent the day running around taking cemetery photo's for those requesting some in my area today! My heart was broken when I went to the one cemetery in the middle of a well established subdivision, which once was the historical part of town to realize the cemetery is not maintained, there are veterans there, headstones broken, vandalized, completely unkept. My plea to all is if you know of a cemetery in your neighborhood being unkept, keep after your city officials to clean it up. Unless it's private...there is no excuse for this. I can't believe this well established neighborhood doesn't fight for it to be kept clean, tended to.

|Robert Hague||RE: Captain Mahlon E Davis|
I have passed your question along to the Glenwood Cemetery historian. I am not related to Mahlon E. Davis; however, I do a small about of research on most of the enteries I place on Find A Grave. The cemetery is having a Civil War marker dedication Apr 28th to honor Civil War soldiers who served on both sides. I seem to recall when I was researching Capt. Mahlon E. Davis that he is the one who commanded the "Union Colored Troops". I just want to confirm to see what information the cemetery historian has. I should be back in touch shortly.

|BDA.||Elliott Memorial Gardens|
Hello, Do you know if Elliott Memorial Gardens ever existed under another name? I am trying to locate Eastview Cemetery in Hopkins County, KY and wondered if it had been renamed.
Thanks and Blessings,

|Margaret Gunn||RE: Jersey Joe Walcott|
Hi, If you are talking about the Joe Walcott buried in Dalton Cemetery in Ohio, he isn't the "real" Joe "Walcott. The gentleman who is at Dalton Cemetery let the townspeople think he was the Ex-World Champion. People in Dalton paid for the burial & headstone as their "Joe Walcott".
The real Jersey Joe Walcott didn't pass until 25 Feb 1994 and is buried at Sunset Memorial Park, Pennsauken, Camden Co., NJ. This Joe Walcott is buried under his real name of Arnold Raymond Cream. Hope this helps solve the question.
